I have been frequenting this beautiful Sicilian place for years, where I find courtesy, professionalism and excellent food, the pastry shop what can I say... sublime! Today I tasted a very fresh shaken coffee, a real treat, made by the barista Mirko always very kind and friendly! If you are in the Prati area you can't miss going to "Catanese" I highly recommend it!

This is so good! Amazing place for breakfast, I walked into it randomly without checking Google, it’s busy but the atmosphere is so good, so many local ppl eat and drink coffee in from of the counter，the owner and waiters are friendly,good price with delicious breads! The owner and the food are great! Friendly to Chinese people, only about 3 euros per person...highly recommended, hehe!

This is a fantastically great place where you will find great service and awesome food! Great stuff with enormous customer care! Definitely must visit, aranchini is a must to try!

Catania: Contrary to other negative reviews, I found the service very friendly even though the place was full! Today I had a brioche and a lemon granita, the brioche dough was good and the brioche was fresh which is fundamental and, although it was polished with the egg and not with milk as lightness and tradition would require, I pass it with flying colors! The lemon granita had a very fine grain, as it should be, but it was served too icy. This wouldn't have been a bad thing if you just had to wait a bit. The problem occurred upon tasting... The flavor was absolutely not that of simple lemon and sugar but there was something artificial or other among the ingredients. This, for a Sicilian... is sacrilege. I read all the negative reviews on Google hoping that someone else had noticed, but I couldn't find any reviews on this. I would like to go back and try it with just water, sugar and lemon juice

for those who are far from Sicily, this represents one of the Roman excellences of Sicilian culture. delicious granitas and pastries. I highly recommend it.

Conoscevo già Il Catanese di Roma per averci acquistato dei prodotti, ed erano buonissimi, ma non avevo mai avuto l'occasione di mangiarci. Finalmente ci sono riuscito, e devo dire che non mi è dispiaciuto affatto. Buon cibo, non so fino a che punto veramente "siciliano", ma buono a prezzi onesti. Locale carino, anche se un po' troppa confusione all'ora di punta . Comunque però Buono .

Locale molto curato che dà proprio l’idea di stare in Sicilia. Molto buoni gli arancini, soffici le mini pizzette rosse, alte e morbide quelle più grandi con mozzarella e olive. Peccato che fossero tiepidine e non ben calde come avevo, per ben due volte, richiesto. Costi adeguati alla location e comoda la possibilità di potersi sedere e consumare cibo acquistato al banco. Lo consiglio.
