Very nice place, still with exposed brick walls. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food but I didn't find it exceptional. For elephant ear lovers, I recommend having the cheese "sauce" brought separately because it has a strong flavour. The outdoor area with outdoor tables and umbrellas is also beautiful

We visited Castigo for dinner on a whim for our last night in Italy. It was one of our favorite restaurants out of our 8 day tour of Italy. The owners were wonderful and came to speak to us at our table and the food was out of this world! If you are looking for a family owned restaurant off the beaten path, this is it! I would go back to Italy, just to visit Castigo again. 10/10 Perfecto!

A restaurant with very friendly and courteous service, very good cuisine and a suitable wine selection. The food is very good and plentiful; in addition to the menu, there are always daily menus and dishes on offer. The drinks are inexpensive and overall this place is definitely worth recommending! Special requests are happily and naturally fulfilled, so you feel even more comfortable!

In giro per laghi, ci hanno suggerito questo ristorante. Cucina di carne e pesce, con ampio menu e buona cantina. Porzioni anche abbondanti ( attenzione orecchia di elefante con cacio e pepe basta per 3!), servizio ineccepibile e poco rumore!
Il dolce è uno spettacolo da vedere e gustare!
