Urbino, exiting the Palazzo Ducale, turn right and you'll find a corner of paradise. A bit hidden, but upon entering, you immediately see beautiful indoor tables and a shaded courtyard where you can enjoy a wonderful lunch in this heat. The service is courteous and helpful, and what's not to be underestimated...in fact, they're perfectly equipped for GLUTEN-FREE dining. Good appetizers...delicious first courses...delicious second courses. Passatelli with truffles, excellent even for gluten-free dining. Delicate and flavorful mushroom gnocchi. Slow-cooked pork with caramelized onions and potatoes...the meat is flavorful and melts in your mouth. Excellent desserts. If you come to Urbino, you must try this restaurant. Congratulations on everything.

I had a very positive experience at Il Castello restaurant. The restaurant is welcoming and quaint, with a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are well-prepared, tasty, and made with quality ingredients, with a particular focus on local traditions. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the service. I found this restaurant by searching on Google, but the average reviews don't do it justice. The internal courtyard, at 2 pm on a Sunday in July, is cool and breezy, making for a pleasant summer lunch. The food is excellent, interesting, and the selection of local products is noteworthy. A wide selection of Marche wines (red, white, sparkling, and rosé) offers an excellent pairing with the menu. The local appetizer was sensational, and the first course was also very good (but if I were to go back, I would definitely choose a second course). The prices are transparent and consistent with the quality of the product. I would gladly return!

A wonderful experience in the center of Urbino. We were greeted by very friendly staff who showed us to a table in the outdoor garden, which I highly recommend. The dishes are all delicious, and there are excellent gluten-free options (I chose tagliatelle, but they also offer passatelli and gnocchi!).

Excellent! We went for lunch on May 1st, three of us, including my daughter who is celiac. Beautiful place, kind and professional staff. We ate deliciously... the piadina and gluten-free bread were excellent! I highly recommend it, the food was quality.
