We went to the Il Castagno restaurant on August 15th. Above all expectations because we were thinking of the usual chaotic mid-August lunch but instead the tables were well spaced and although it was full, it was not noisy and chaotic. The dining room staff and in particular Mrs. Simona, very attentive to everything, always kind and helpful. As for the menu, we chose a fish menu and a meat menu. So we tasted everything. Generous portions, cooked very well, I don't know what I liked best because everything was really good... even the dessert! Thank you... we will definitely be back

We rented the Castagno for five days. The two stars at the entrance here stand for a simple but spacious and sparkling clean room. Air conditioning is also included. The daily room service is nice and thorough. Il Castagno exceeds expectations in all respects. We have known Il Castagno as a dining restaurant since the early 2000s and have been here ever since when we are in the region. We were also able to experience larger celebrations with more than 30 people here. The food has been the same high quality since the first visit. If you want to understand how Italian families eat, Il Castagno is highly recommended, especially on weekends. We haven't found anything on the extensive menu that wasn't very good. For example the antipasti di pesce caldi or freddo - both a poem. One discovery was Sgombro in Saor. Pickled shrimp with raisins and red onions. Da fuori non sembrava promettente, anzi piccolo a dire il vero, entrando si trova il bar e scendendo una grande sala con molti tavoli. La sala ha una vetrata su grande giardino. Personale cortese, locale pulito e cibo ottimo. Abbiamo preso solo un primo ma davvero ottimo. Oltre alla carta c è la possibilità del menu del giorno. Lo consiglio veramente

Ottimo, locale rinnovato, piatti di qualità, personale gentile e professionale, servizio veloce. Anche asporto. Buonissimo il pesce.
