We went here twice in a week. Great ambience, nice waiters and we all loved the food. First visit we took the tasting menu, the next just antipasti and meat dish. Both times were flawless.

We stumbled on this Osteria on our way back to our accommodation, we stopped because it looked really nice and reviews were good, though we think it deserves more that 4.2 overall, more like 4.9! The atmosphere, food and particularly the service was fantastic, highly highly recommend!

Great food, lovely people! Also very nice wine. I would not recommend to go here with little kids, as the food is more for food lovers who appreciate more exquisite food. We were a family of 4 people, and loved it!

Riaperto “Il Castagno”, storica locanda di campagna, con una gestione tutta nuova, giovane e preparata. Grande ospitalità e cortesia. L’Osteria offre formule per pranzo e cena (entrambe provate); ingredienti di prima qualità e alta professionalità culinaria. Raccomandati: lingua alla griglia, risotto agli agrumi, penne al lampredotto, uovo croccante. Insuperabile il piccione in carcassa. Piatti tradizionali sapientemente rivisitati dal giovane chef. Interni accoglienti arredati con sobria eleganza e fantastici esterni adatti per una scampagnata in famiglia. Grazie a Dario, Camilla e tutto lo staff.
