Even though I'm not vegan, I still had a great time at this place. The ingredients are top-quality and the dishes are meticulously researched. They made a delicious birthday cake for my uncle, who is vegan. I'll definitely be back, especially since they regularly host very interesting themed evenings!

Yesterday I came here for lunch, brought by my grandchildren, Laura and Massimo, who have lived in Villanova Mondovì for several years. I was blown away by the delicious food I chose, all of which were attractive and of the highest quality. The ingredients are vegan, grown in the owners' garden. The entire menu embodies the concept of healthy, vibrant cuisine, cooked with love and yet focused on delighting the palate, with original and creative pairings. While it goes far beyond the great Piedmontese tradition, it is somehow present in the structure of the menu, built on the classic sequence of appetizers, first courses, second courses, and dessert. The atmosphere is appropriately rustic, yet spacious and quiet, encouraging conversation, one of the true pleasures of dining. Over time, I'm sure the exterior will also improve, a modest square serving as a large parking lot next to the appropriate brick church. The spirit of Gozzano hovers and breathes in the words of the talented chef, reserved yet open to sharing her deeply desired personal and professional journey. Thank you, we'll be back as soon as we can.

Exceptional. I know many vegan places, this one is among the best, and it's excellent value for money. The waiters and owner are very kind, they recommend excellent wines, and the cook is excellent. The desserts are also super good. And even the side vegetables aren't just extras...I recommend it! ...an important detail? Every table has a fan in these incredibly hot days, if that's not a thoughtful touch... Plus, there's ample free parking in front of the restaurant... Truly: Exceptional!

Hostaria dai Musi

11/10/2025: We visited Hosteria dai Musi for lunch as a group of six and overall had a good experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We all ordered both primi piatti and secondi piatti, and while the meal started off excellent, there were a few small issues with the main courses. The primi piatti for everyone were absolutely delicious — beautifully cooked, full of flavor, and perfectly seasoned. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation. Unfortunately, the secondi piatti didn’t quite live up to the same high standard. Two of us ordered the tagliatelle with white truffle butter, with the option to add fresh white truffle on top. Since the dish already included truffle butter, they chose to have it without the additional truffle topping. However, the plates were served with normal butter and no truffle flavor at all, which was disappointing. Another guest ordered the brasato with mashed potatoes but requested it without truffle butter — it then arrived without any mashed potatoes either, which seemed like a simple misunderstanding but still affected the overall experience. Despite these small mix-ups, the food quality in general remains very high, and we know from past visits that Hosteria dai Musi can be absolutely fantastic. The flavors, presentation, and overall vibe of the place still make it worth recommending — especially for anyone who loves authentic, carefully prepared dishes in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Review from last visit: Wonderful restaurant. We had an absolutely amazing lunch at Hostarua dai Musi. The good was just phenomenal. We had a Vitello Tonnato as a starter and it was probably the best I have ever eaten. The tonnato was a bit mousse like and therefore very fluffy. The food in general was outstanding and I can highly recommend trying the Hostaria dai Musi when you’re visiting Alba.
20/09/2025: The food was good, but a bit overpriced. Service was subpar. Inattentive and slightly overwhelmed.
