I had the pleasure of trying both the cuisine and the pizzeria at Carbonaio and I can say that both lived up to my expectations. The menu is refined, with creative dishes and quality products. The owners are very competent, professional, friendly and always available, ready to respond to the customer's needs and to advise. A real added value, which makes this place truly special. If you are looking for a place to eat well and feel at home, Il Carbonaio is the perfect choice. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Every time I return to "Al Carbonaio" it is a heart-warming experience. The staff is extremely professional and always friendly, able to make you feel at ease from the first moment. The atmosphere is intimate, familiar and well-kept. The owners, Ciro and Gina, are wonderful people: passionate, welcoming and always careful to guarantee the best to those who sit at their tables. And the food? A guarantee. Whatever you choose from the menu is superb, from appetizers to pizza, from first courses to second courses. Everything is prepared with quality ingredients and great care. There is also great attention to gluten-free: those with special dietary needs feel welcomed and protected, without ever giving up taste and variety. The selection of wines is wide and well-curated, as is the selection of desserts, which always end the meal in style. Another strong point is the menu, always refined and constantly evolving: it changes every three-four months, always offering new proposals to those who love to return often. We went to this place with my son's sports club, 12 of us. We were in a pleasant basement room with a stone barrel vault, nice I ate meat: I ate the Angus maminha rare and very good and tender, I tasted the Florentine steak also rare and it was even more tender; the cut, however, was tougher (perhaps cooked a little too much). The only mistake (which we solved by asking for a cold dish) is to serve the meat on hot plates... the meat continues to cook, if you order it rare, by the time you've eaten 2 bites the rest has already become overcooked... it's a choreographic stunt, but not a good one in my opinion. Pretty competitive prices (in truth I can't compare them with other places in the area, but compared to the prices I usually find in the north, where I come from, they are very good) We will return if we come to San Severo again
