We arrived late in the afternoon, yet they welcomed us warmly.
It was my first time there, but I immediately felt at ease, like I was part of the family.
We ordered different dishes, not realizing that at that hour it might be better to limit our order, yet they didn't flinch and fully accommodated our needs.
We ate very well, and the service was impeccable.
I can only recommend this place for its enchanting setting, excellent dishes, and knowledgeable staff.

The pizzas are delicious, even though they're only available for takeout due to limited seating.
We went for dinner a few years ago and it was excellent; we'd happily return. Reservations are essential, especially during high season.

Il Capriolo has become a regular stop every time I stop in Schilpario.

Excellent appetizers, unforgettable first courses (fantastic Scalvine crests, fresh pasta stuffed with formaggella cheese topped with mushrooms, bacon, and pumpkin cream), venison, polenta, and porcini mushrooms.
Warm welcome, excellent service.
Also suitable for romantic dinners.
Prices are reasonable for the choice.
The Scalve Valley is worth a visit, offering quiet and picturesque spots away from the tourist traffic, nestled among the woods and mountain faces of the Orobic Dolomites.
