The Gran Hotel Doria is an excellent hotel. The staff is very kind and prepared, the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas is excellent, the rooms and the areas are elegant and tastefully furnished. A truly large hotel just like its name. It is not always a given that the name of a hotel or a product reflects reality. Once, for example, I was distracted and I was seduced by the high-sounding name of a bottle of Nebbiolo 'Grand duchessa Lio', yes, in short the name of the wine brand was alluring but the wine was really awful. Well, this is not exactly the case with the Gran Hotel Doria: the Grand Hotel Doria is a large hotel in name and in fact.

Excellent value hotel, clean, comfortable and well run. Ten minutes walk from Centrale station, and just round the corner from the Loreto underground stop, which is on lines 1 and 2, so a very easy base from which to explore Milan. Recommended.

Very satisfied with my stay at the Doria Grand Hotel in Milan. Friendly staff. Room and hotel very clean and nothing to complain about in this regard. Lots of small shops near the hotel. Very well served by public transport.

Overall, the level is a bit below what it claims. The breakfast is really awful.

There was a taxi strike going on, so I took a bus from the airport. It was my first time in a place, and I was almost crying because my English was so stale... On the way, an older woman whose face was covered in piercings and a young couple told me where to transfer and where to get off the bus, and I managed to get there. The room is spacious and the location is very convenient. The nearby Bamboo Cafe was wonderful with all the good-looking guys.

Hotel 10 minutes from Centrale station. Correct and comfortable rooms.

Found this Hotel as we needed to be close to the Milan Central station… we got in early to drop our bags off and they were nice enough to let us check in Early.. The hotel is nice for area and has all the modern amenities. The rooms are cute and what I would expect for a European hotel. Had no issues with anything and the shower was nice and hot and pressure was strong 👍it’s close to the metro and 10 min walk from the main station…Would definitely stay here again…

I recommend! It's cozy, clean and affordable. Breakfast is standard, but you can really eat it, even the scrambled eggs are good. Close to public transport and there is a place to walk in the evening :-)
