I recently visited this charming osteria, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The food was absolutely amazing and flavorful, well-prepared, and authentic. The prices were quite reasonable, striking a good balance between value and quality, though not overly cheap. While the restaurant is an osteria at heart, it does have a slightly touristy feel, which is to be expected given its location. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had a pleasant time throughout our meal. The overall experience was wonderful. The food and wine were great! and my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the osteria. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious Italian fare in a lively yet laid back environment.

Saved the best for last! This was not a regular reservation. We decided on the last day of our vacation in Florence to take a class to learn how to make pasta and tiramisu. It was a wonderful adventure to take this class! Our master chef, Antonio, showed full knowledge and above all knew how to teach us the basic techniques to make ravioli and tagliatelle and tiramisu. He knew how to create an atmosphere of family and camaraderie among all of us who participated, even though the group was so diverse-we came from different countries – Japan, Germany, the United States and Puerto Rico. At the end, all proud of our products enjoyed a family lunch where a great conversation was the center and where sharing our experiences was very nice. Highly recommended!

A great rundown restaurant... shame. Good food, nothing to complain about, but the quality/price ratio is for "tourists", not to mention the €36 for a wine that costs €7.90 in the supermarket. (For the love of truth €7.90 for the 2023 vintage, €36 for the 2022 vintage). Something doesn't add up.

Hidden gem, a traditional restaurant with great food. Fresh pasta is awesome and the house wine is a fresh and fruity Chianti clasico. Half a litre for 8 euros is a bargain.

Gran restaurante subterráneo. Buena comida y buen servicio. Estaba ocupado con un gran grupo, pero aún así se aseguró de que nos cuidaron y tenían todo lo que queríamos.

14/01/2025: Lunch with a dear friend via the fork app, we split an appetizer and had a first course each. The undersigned tasted the pici...really good. I recommend this place, excellent value for money, efficient and friendly service. I will definitely be back!
06/12/2024: Update two years later: After the excellent experience two years ago we returned. Unfortunately I think that the best dishes are the first courses and the slightly more elaborate things, unfortunately I was disappointed by the Fiorentina. I was told there were only 1.4kg slices and I took it without any problems but there was no trace of fillet. It would be nice if, in addition to the weight, the customer would also be informed about this before choosing, because the "Florentine steak" by definition is the T-shaped one and also with the fillet, otherwise we're talking about ribeye. So the rib was still good but it wasn't what I expected to get. A piece of advice also on knives, those with plastic handles are not comfortable and it is really difficult to cut meat. ———————————————————- -2020 review First courses of excellent quality, very good starter and really interesting homemade bread! The tiramisu was done well and the cream was truly delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and informal place. They were also very nice with our little dog, highly recommended!
