My wife and I were on our honeymoon. We snuck into the pasta making class last second. It was truly fantastic from start to finish. Our "Nonna", Narghess, was amazing. From the moment I awkwardly stumbled down into to the restaurant to ask if it was too early to come in to the last bite of dessert and goodbye. She commanded the room with wisdom and compassion. We learned some history of Florence, the building we were in and its relation to the Renaissance as we prepared tiramisou, ravioli, and fettuccine. An unforgettable experience. 100%. Narghess was incredibly kind and supportive as we muscled our way through the itinerary. Fun, informative, and (most of all) tasty. We would highly recommend this activity for anyone. The restaurant itself has great atmosphere, history, and even better chefs!! We're from Maine in the US, but we met couples from Australia, Canada, and the Netherlands in the same class and by the end of the night we all felt like family. Wish I was going back tomorrow night <3

Family owned & operated — we attended a pasta-making class here & everything was phenomenal! Also loved the authentic feel of the restaurant with different levels & exposed brick!

If you want a quiet place without the hustle and bustle of the street and waiting in lines, I recommend it. The food is great and the prices are reasonable!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we had planned to go to a typical Tuscan restaurant. Il Cantinone was a complete success! The service was super attentive and incredibly friendly! The food was excellent, and the house wine was a real treat! If we ever return to Florence, we'll be heading there again.

My family and I went to Florence to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday and stumbled upon this restaurant located in a quaint little street. Besides the truly rustic (in a good way) location, the food is excellent! The generous portions, the excellent quality, and the friendly staff made for a pleasant lunch. Finally, the final touch was the candle on the cake to celebrate Mom's birthday! Highly recommended.

Tuvimos un almuerzo encantador en este Osterio por debajo de las calles de Florencia. Parecía un viejo vendedor de vino. Mi esposa y yo compartimos unos deliciosos Raviolis de Manteca y Salvia y Un poco de pollo delicioso con Trufa y salsa de Setas Porcini. Delicioso, gran lugar para el almuerzo

Je dient een tweetal trappen naar beneden te gaan om in het restaurant aan te komen. Er is een uitgebalanceerde menukaart voorhanden en een uitgebreide en excellente keuze aan wijnen per glas, die dan ook nog eens ruim bemeten zijn. Echt chapeau dat dit vandaag nog kan. Bovendien vraagt het restaurant geen kosten voor couvert en dienst.
