The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is fantastic and jaw-dropping, one of the very few restaurants offering excellent products at more than fair prices. The handmade pasta is also delicious 😋

A genuine and delicious experience at Calascione in Arsoli
During a visit to Arsoli, I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Il Calascione restaurant, a welcoming and well-kept place, immersed in the tranquility of this enchanting village in the province of Rome.
The appetizer was a perfect start: a selection of local cured meats and cheeses, generously served and accompanied by a fig jam that paired perfectly with the ricotta. Next, a surprising carpaccio of fresh courgettes with parmesan flakes and a touch of balsamic vinegar glaze: simple, but really tasty.
The first course was a discovery: a pasta with nettles topped with fresh cherry tomatoes, olives and a soft stracciatella that tied all the flavours together harmoniously. An original dish, well-balanced and tasty.
To conclude the meal, a tiramisu made that day, soft and creamy, which was able to give a sweet and light note to the end of lunch.
All this was accompanied by a good glass of Chardonnay and a taste of local oil on bread, which further enhanced the restaurant's attention to quality and territoriality.
A positive experience from all points of view: genuine dishes, generous portions and friendly service. Definitely a place to return to and one that I gladly recommend to those looking for authentic cuisine and local flavors.
