A fantastic dinner by the sea! Il Calamaro is a little gem on the Tortoreto seafront! We had an exceptional and very light fried fish dish. The owners were very kind, professional, and welcoming.

Il Calamaro was a wonderful discovery! Delicious fish, lightly fried. We tried the various items on the menu without feeling overwhelmed. Special mention goes to the fried cod and the excellent wine selection. The owners are very friendly and the service is efficient. All this right by the sea...truly the best!

We came to this fry shop after spotting it on Maps, and our expectations were far exceeded. The place is simple yet welcoming, with a pleasant atmosphere and attention to detail. The fried food is truly excellent: dry, crispy, light, and tasty. We tried calamari, shrimp, and a truly excellent mixed fry, freshly prepared with the freshest ingredients. Each dish arrived hot, fragrant, and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable: friendly, attentive, and fast, the staff were always available with a smile and ready to accommodate every request. The takeout option is also very convenient, ideal if you want to enjoy everything by the sea or take something delicious home. A place we'll definitely return to and highly recommend to anyone who loves good fried food done right!

Yesterday we went to Calamaro for a family lunch where we shared excellent food, surrounded by a seaside location and a high level of professionalism, three key ingredients that reign supreme. We tried a little bit of everything, from fried fish to seafood salad, from tuna to fish olives, from fried cheese to battered vegetables, and finally the desserts. All the products were top-quality and carefully selected, but the tuna was truly spectacular! The owner and his son were knowledgeable, professional, and helpful, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional staff. Excellent cobo. I recommend the fried calamari and prawns, battered vegetables, and the red beer is excellent, as is the lemon sorbet. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere, attentive and friendly owner and staff. Fried food is definitely their strong point, along with jacket potatoes and battered vegetables. Not to be missed!

I highly recommend this place – the food is delicious – we had seafood, cod, breaded olives with fish, fries, and potato wedges. The homemade desserts were delicious: panna cotta and tiramisu. Plus, the waiter was wonderful, spoke very good English (which is rare in this area) and had a great sense of humor. We'll definitely stop by for dinner next time we're in the area.

We've been coming to this wonderful place for years. The food is delicious and the owners are always super friendly.

Rientrando a Roma ci siamo fermati a Tortoreto Lido per pranzo e abbiamo scelto di provare Il Calamaro friggitoria scelta risultata esaltante dalla qualità del pesce (da non perdere il tonno fritto e le olive ripiene di pesce ) addirittura abbiamo fatto l’asporto per la cena !!!! Complimenti al gentilissimo proprietario alla moglie artefice di tanta bontà e alle ragazze al servizio , cortesi educate e gentilissime. Bravissimi !!!!! Noi torneremo certamente

Siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante e siamo stati benissimo... abbiamo mangiato molto bene grazie anche ai preziosi consigli del proprietario Giuseppe.... veramente simpaticissimo e molto accogliente...ci ha suggerito dei fritti stra buoni e un vino a dir poco spettacolare... Torneremo presto Mirko e Ilaria
