We came on holiday to Genoa and this is the best tavern we have tried. Excellent traditional food and above all very good but the strong point is certainly the staff. Marta and Tommaso made us feel at home and made the evening even more special by allowing us to celebrate the birthday of one of us with a cake and candle.
Ps. Marta you are beautiful I would eat wine and fish with bones again for you. Love you.

Very nice and welcoming restaurant in the historic center. The typical dishes of the Genoese tradition are good, the service is quick and very kind, the prices are correct for the quality offered. We will definitely be back very soon.

I went to this place for the first time, with my husband and two friends, on the advice of enthusiastic French friends.
The environment is wonderful, the service very kind and attentive in terms and times, the quality-price ratio, even for the wines by the glass, is correct.
Let's get to the dishes: the testaroli are curious and delicious, which being more typical of La Spezia cuisine is not usual to find in Genoa, the trofie with pesto are excellent, a warm chestnut pie with hot zabaglione, simply unforgettable!
The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5? A dish of unmemorable tuna linguine and above all a great disappointment with the roasted octopus which, chosen by our friend, looked really inviting, to the point of inducing us to order it ourselves. Instead, ours arrived overcooked and burnt, therefore dry and hard: in our opinion it should not have been served. However, we will certainly return, certain that it was just a forgivable oversight.
Great food - the triofe and the side of zucchini caponata particularly stood out. I love the panera semifreddo for dessert too. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful.

Excellent Ligurian restaurant, more than fair portions, menu with a very broad offering that deserves more than one dinner to try more things. Simple but picturesque environment, very kind waiters (we had a 3 year old girl and they made us find a high chair, paper and colors at the table... With a lollipop at the end... Not everyone has this kindness towards children). Amazing first courses and focaccia. Average price and online booking super convenient!

Nice restaurant, a little touristy, but with good Genoese cuisine. The pansotti with walnuts, ravioli to the touch are good, the focaccia with pesto and cherry tomatoes is very good. They fell a little on the roasted octopus which was biscuity and rather hard. The ricotta and chocolate cake is excellent with a very fine pastry and heated to the right point. Excellent quality/price ratio: around 26 euros each without wine. Quick, friendly and friendly service. The place has a nice atmosphere.

Frequentato dagli altri componenti della tavolata in passato, con commenti molto positivi, non posso dire di avere mangiato male ma il wow è un altra cosa. Ottimo il pesto e a quanto riferito i pansoti. Antipasti nella media a parte brandacujun molto ben fatto . Taglierini polpo e olive nel menu del giorno onestamente impresentabili per assoluta mancanza di condimento. Locale pieno a pranzo ed assoluta impossibilità di chiacchierare per fortissimo brusio . Dolci discreti. Servizio giovane ma cortese e inappuntabile

Ambiente molto caratteristico, pulito, personale gentilissimo menù tipico genovese, ottimo il brandacujun del Cadraio, buono il cono con il fritto di pesce e buone le farinate, in particolare l' avvantaggiata con rosmarino e la sporcacciona, cipolle e gorgonzola. Sono rimasto perplesso però, quando ho ordinato le pere con il vino e mi è stata servita una mezza pera, buona ma pur sempre una mezza pera di dimensioni medie.
In altri ristoranti, di solito, le pere al vino vengono servite o 2 piccole o una grande, credevo fosse un errore ma mi hanno confermato che quella era la porzione, peccato.
Prezzi corretti per la qualità dei prodotti.
Da provare assolutamente, animali ammessi.
