Booked place for me and my friends (which later canceled on me) however best decision to come alone and enjoy this beautiful 10 days here is this establishment and great hospitality from everyone 😊 food is great, they treated me with an excellent white wine and the room is made for a king since my friends are not there i have more then enough space 😀

Sublime dinner Of all the places we tried in Cagliari, Locanda del Buongustaio is definitely the best restaurant my partner and I have ever tried! We're both very picky eaters, and they exceeded our expectations. They're also super friendly, and the service is impeccable. The price is very fair! We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

Wonderful food, a very warm welcome from young, dedicated hosts. They had our well-being at heart. We had wonderful cozze with various sauces, accompanied by several wonderful breads with two different olive oils, a delicious culurgiones with excellent wine pairing, all in a cozy and friendly atmosphere. We look forward to our next time!

Excellent restaurant, with very attractively priced menus! It's a very good trattoria where you can eat good, fresh, local produce. And no one is mocking us for the quantities, these are beautiful plates!!

We had dinner with my wife and two other very dear friends who had booked. I have to change my mind for a previous TOTALLY WRONG evaluation, because it referred to the previous management before Leonildo. We had a splendid dinner, excellent food and with a perfect mise en clace, the continuous assistance of the owner and the waitress. I highlight the continuous presence and assistance of the very good "Leonildo" who advised us on the choices. AMAZING DESSERTS.

Piatti di gran livello. ottima materia prima. ottimo il servizio. Il locale è molto molto carino e ti fa sentire in ristorante, un perfetto connubio di rusticità e raffinatezza. Conservare spazio per i dolci.

13/07/2025: We ordered a menu that included 10 appetizers, bread, water, fregola with seafood, pasta with truffles, and dessert for €30 per person. The carabineri were spectacular.
13/07/2025: Great availability even when booking by phone, excellent on-site reception, super-fast preparation of my young son's dish (cutlets and fries). I chose the lobster linguine, a true delicacy as well as a beautiful sight, not to mention the decidedly generous portion, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I then continued with some delicious shrimp and fish meatballs, finishing with a delicious lactose-free Catalan cream. My husband chose land between a lovely appetizer of Sardinian cheeses and cured meats and a very good Angus beef, to finish with his own dessert and a warm chocolate cake for my son. We chose the à la carte menu due to our preference, but they also offer very interesting guided tasting menus. I also want to highlight the attention to detail in every single course, as well as the option of lactose-free options, including desserts. The value for money was absolutely more than fair. We had a great time and therefore highly recommend it, both for families and in general. The location is intimate, minimal yet effective, and super clean (as are the bathrooms).

13/08/2025: A dinner that made us feel like we were traveling through the scents and flavors of Sardinia. My boyfriend and I chose this restaurant almost by chance, and we found ourselves immersed in an authentic and satisfying experience. The cheese platter speaks of tradition with every bite, the malloreddus alla campidanese envelop us with warmth, and the saffron fregola with mushrooms and sausage is a perfect blend of aromas and textures. The desserts, delicate and unforgettable, ended the evening like a sweet caress. The staff, sweet and attentive to every detail, made us feel welcomed and at home. And the price, so fair for the quality and generosity of the food, was a pleasant final surprise. A place that remains in the heart, to be cherished and revisited.
