We visited this Italian restaurant only briefly, as we were on a tight schedule to make our reservation at the Pantheon in Rome. Because of that, we ordered just pizza, without drinks or dessert.
Even though our stay was short, we had a pleasant experience. The pizza was freshly made, with a thin, crispy crust and high-quality ingredients. The flavors were authentic and truly Italian. The service was quick and efficient, which we really appreciated given our limited time.
Although we didn’t have the chance to try more from the menu, our experience was positive, and we would gladly return next time to enjoy a full meal without rushing.

I really enjoyed my meal at il Buco, I first came here for lunch and I liked it so much I wanted to come back and try something else. I really liked the carbonara, the best I had in Rome. Their food is simple but done very well. I'll be going back next time I'm in Rome.

Still a wonderful well hidden gem. If you want a break from roman food. Mushroom soup and guine fowl meat with artichoke were a must. Others at my table liked wild boar meat and with pasta too
Lemon dessrt was tender and fluffy. And several peole liked Tuscan apple pie

We randomly wandered in while exploring Rome and somehow ended up having the best meal of our entire trip. From the first bite of pasta to the last sip of espresso, everything was absolutely unreal.
The carbonara? Life-changing.
The pizza? Straight out of a dream.
The tiramisu? I’m still thinking about it.
The staff treated us like family, made amazing recommendations, and made us feel so welcome. You don’t feel like a tourist here — you feel like you belong.
If you’re in Rome and don’t eat here, you’re doing it wrong. This place alone is worth the flight to Italy.
Already planning my next trip back just for this restaurant. 🇮🇹🍝❤️

A great experience booking with The Fork. Otherwise, it would have been quite expensive, in line with tourist prices but above average for a local worker.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and fresh. The waiters have been soo accomodating and professional. The atmosphere is of a typical italian restaurant. We were in 6 and tried several dishes. They were all superb. We will surely be back on our next visit to Rome.

Small and charming restaurant, attentive staff, perhaps a little reserved, but they serve some of the best spaghetti carbonara I've had in a long time, and my wife ordered gnocchi with porcini mushrooms. We arrived late, but the service was good.
