Lunch with friends on a public holiday. 99% seafood based menu, we are in Monopoli and rightly so. Everything was excellent, from the starters, to the first and second courses. High quality raw materials used. Good choice of wines. Top table service! The only flaw is that in winter you eat indoors and as the location is not very large it is very noisy on days when the place is full. If I had to recommend a dish, the "Senatore Cappelli" spaghetti with pistachio pesto and red prawn tartare! Advised!

Good food but terribly noisy restaurant. We went for lunch on Wednesday. Business was great and lot of customers. The arch shaped rooftop trapped noise and thus the place was incredibly noisy. Food was great. Portion was big. And there’s even decent dish display to my surprise

Fantastic place! The food was delicious, beautifully presented and deliciously prepared. Authentic place with a nice atmosphere. Friendly and professional service. Very good seafood, I especially liked the tuna and shrimps in kaffir pastry. The selection of wines and desserts is also great. While in Monopoli, I will definitely come back!

I recently did a week in Puglia with some buddies and Il Brigante was the best meal of our trip. We had the antipasto sampler and the lobster special - everything we ate was excellent, the vibe inside the restaurant was lively but relaxing and the service was solid. Highly recommend this spot for any seafood enthusiasts visiting Monopoli.

We had dinner last night and everything was perfect. Very kind and smiling staff, fresh and super quality fish. Everything was delicious, from the starter to the desserts. The local wine recommended to us by the owner was also excellent. Thank you very much for the splendid dinner.

You can go there with your eyes closed. It’s super good! Highly recommend the pistachio pasta with salmon tartare, we loved it! A bit disappointed by the grilled octopus which we thought was lacking of sauce and a bit dry but still tasty!

Son conocidos por el crudo pero no comemos pescado crudo. El aperitivo de pescado frito era ligero y suficiente para 2 junto con fritis de yegua compartida. Una gran tarde
