Il Brandano In Trequanda

The property is located in Petroio, an ancient medieval village. We stayed there for 2 nights. The rooms are well decorated and the bed is comfortable. The hotel serves the following breakfast: 1 yogurt, seasonal fruit, granola, a hot drink, a juice, water and a croissant (can be sweet or savory) and an egg to share between 2 people. The service is polite, but not as warm as at the other properties we stayed at in Tuscany during our trip. It is also important to note that there are no restaurants on site during the beginning of April, only in the neighboring towns.

We stayed with the whole family in this beautiful palace located in a small village. We had a really good time, large and clean rooms, very kind staff. Very rich breakfast. What can I say, we'll be back.

I came with high expectations for this trip. I did a multi-day tour in Tuscany and this was my first accommodation. Easily accessible by car and with free parking right next to the hotel, quite convenient. The check-in process was quick and complete. In my case I stayed in a suite for two nights. I have to clarify that I got a little surprise here, since the website only shows photos of one suit, but in reality they have several, I imagine with some variation in the layout of the spaces. In the end there was a small problem with the sheets but I have to highlight the quick and efficient reaction of the person at the reception. The rest of the room was clean and tidy. Complete and varied breakfast, with friendly and attentive staff. The only setback came when returning to the room on the second day, since the room was unfinished despite having indicated that they could intervene. At that point I went to the reception to point out the problem. The person at the reception excused himself and told me that he would try to get my room done: The plan was to have the person who is in charge of cleaning the rooms come back to do mine. After 40 minutes waiting, the person wasn't going to come, and that's when the receptionist offered to do it herself, but I had to decline because I just wanted to go into the room and rest. Compared to the reaction speed of the person who checked me in, I have to say that I was a little cold, since the alternative was to have a person come outside of their working hours, and there was also no gesture or compensation for not having enjoyed a service that is included in the rate. Again, what I appreciated most was the attention of the staff in charge of breakfast, who again on behalf of the hotel apologized for what happened, appearing friendly, but again the service was not compensated in any way. In general I recommend it, affordable price in a quiet location and adequate facilities, and also close to several points of interest.

Perfect stay. Very clean, welcoming, warm room and bathroom, we stayed 1 night, in this tiny, wonderful, perched village, a few steps from Montepulciano. Equipped with all comforts, quiet. Absolutely to return

A fairy village, a beautiful location and above all the sweetness of Mrs. Giovanna literally kidnapped us during our weekend in Val d'Orcia.

Palazzo Brandano is located in an authentic and fascinating village, which still retains its identity. We stayed in a suite with a hydromassage tub and I must say that it exceeded my expectations: the room was welcoming and tastefully furnished, with a refined atmosphere and all the comforts. I really appreciated the presence of a coffee machine with capsules offered by the structure, a minibar stocked with water and a television with Netflix in every room. The Wi-Fi connection also had excellent coverage. The view was spectacular: the living room overlooked the valley, while from the bedroom I could admire the village. The bathroom was a real gem, with natural stone details that gave it a unique touch. The frescoes on the walls and the exposed beams added a particular charm to the room, and the mattress, high and comfortable, guaranteed me a regenerating sleep. The staff was very kind and made me feel at ease straight away, always maintaining great professionalism. One aspect to consider is that, being in a historic center, there is no parking near the structure. I recommend unloading your luggage and then parking in the square at the entrance to the village: the short walk to the hotel is truly evocative and helps to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the village. In the village there are no clubs or bars, so for eating I recommend the Madonnino dei Monti restaurant, a few minutes' drive away, where I found delicious dishes at reasonable prices. The hotel's location is also perfect for visiting Montepulciano, Montalcino and the Rapolano spa, which were an enchanting experience. I highly recommend Palazzo Brandano: it is ideal for those seeking tranquility and comfort in a unique and evocative context, perfect for both couples and families.

I stayed with my girlfriend in October 2024 for 5 nights. I stayed in the Jacuzzi suite. Spacious and comfortable room, staff always helpful and kind. Truly a pleasant experience!
