The comfortable bed, which ensures a restful sleep, is particularly noteworthy. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating, always helpful and friendly, which makes the stay even more pleasant. The breakfast is also delicious and offers plenty of fruit to start the day invigorated. Fantastic location, huge room in a wonderful building. The breakfast is sufficient, it's a shame that the hotel doesn't have a restaurant and it's not even within walking distance. However, the recommended place for dinner: Ristorante pizzeria Madonnino dei Monti - it was great.

Palazzo Brandano in Tuscany offers some of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen. Perched on a hilltop overlooking Petroio, the scenery from our room was absolutely unforgettable – definitely a 5-star view. The atmosphere is serene and picturesque, ideal for a peaceful getaway! The room itself was spacious and comfortable, which we appreciated after a long day of shopping and travel. However, there are a few logistical downsides that travelers should be aware of. If you’re arriving by car (especially a larger one) be prepared for a stressful drive up very narrow streets and then a steep downhill walk to the parking area. We ended up carrying 3 heavy suitcases down the slope because I didn’t feel comfortable driving it the next morning. The lobby closes between 8 and 8:30 PM, so if you’re arriving late, you’ll need to make special arrangements in advance. Breakfast needs to be ordered the day before due to the small staff, which is understandable since the hotel only has 9 rooms, but it does limit flexibility. Also, while there is an elevator for luggage, it doesn’t accommodate guests and had some functionality issues during our stay, which added to the inconvenience. Lastly, the towel I received had noticeable black stains, which took away from the otherwise charming setting. All in all, it’s a solid three-star hotel with an unbeatable view and quiet atmosphere, but guests should be prepared for a few practical hurdles. Worth it for the scenery - just plan ahead.

A beautifull hotel in charming little town. Nice breakfast and polite staff. Keep in mind that the village is very peaceful with no bars or restaurants.

The accommodation is located within a beautiful and well-preserved historic villa. The hotel itself is also a historic building, duly modernized inside for maximum comfort. The room and bathroom are large and clean. Windows offer beautiful views. We stayed there at the end of March, and everything was very quiet. Even the parking space at the back of the hotel was available. For the time of year and compared to other accommodations we've stayed at in Tuscany, the daily rate was quite high, but since we arrived at this place at dusk, we decided to stay anyway.

The property is located in Petroio, an ancient medieval village. We stayed for two nights. The rooms are well decorated and the bed is comfortable. The hotel serves the following breakfast: one yogurt, seasonal fruit, granola, a hot drink, juice, water, a croissant (sweet or savory), and an egg to share between two people. The service is polite, but not as warm as at other properties we stayed at in Tuscany during our trip. It's also important to note that there are no restaurants on site during early April, only in neighboring towns.

We stayed with the whole family in this beautiful palace located in a small village. We had a really good time, large and clean rooms, very kind staff. Very rich breakfast. What can I say, we'll be back.
