We had a good time and ate a lot. If you like shins, this is the right place, they have a dinosaur one which is the end of the world 🤣 Joking... but the shin was really huge. Difficult to understand from the photo since the potatoes were also of a disproportionate size. Guys, special! All starters very good!

We have known Il Boscaiolo for over 15 years and he has never disappointed us! Highly recommended for meat dishes and in recent years it has also specialized in first courses. Heartfelt place in the area.
I have tasted almost all the dishes on the menu on the different occasions I have been to Boscaiolo: one thing better than the other.
The absolutely recommended dishes are the caciocavallo, the ragù and the tart.
The raw materials have always been fresh, of excellent quality, often of own production, as for desserts for example.
The environment is comfortable and warm, in line with the mountain atmosphere, the staff has a truly appreciable kindness and friendliness: always smiling and available.
Particular note of merit for the wine cellar: many bottles for all tastes and budgets, as well as more than valid internal skills to suggest the best pairings!

Il Boscaiolo in Castel di Sangro is a true pearl for those looking for authentic, high-quality cuisine. Our experience was simply impeccable, starting from the **starters**: a rich and tasty selection that immediately highlights the care for the ingredients and the tradition of the territory.
The main dish? The **pasta with lamb ragù**, an explosion of authentic flavours, where the delicacy of the meat marries perfectly with the consistency of the pasta. And then the **arrosticini**, phenomenal, cooked to perfection and so succulent that they leave an indelible memory.
To crown it all, the **desserts**, true masterpieces that close the meal with a note of sublime sweetness. But the "dulcis in fundo" moment was the **coffee**, which stands out for its aroma and quality, accompanied by an exceptional **grappa**, the perfect seal for an unforgettable lunch or dinner.
A restaurant that knows how to combine tradition, taste and hospitality. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!
