Four of us went for lunch yesterday. The first course, featuring "fresh" porcini mushrooms, according to the waiter, I don't think was true. They looked like frozen mushrooms, too soft and mushy. The dishes were decent and plentiful, but the organization and service were very disappointing. The most important and unacceptable aspect was the complete absence of a menu. You have to rely on what the waiter says, which is incomplete and without knowing the prices. There are better places.

An excellent Abruzzo restaurant where you can enjoy traditional dishes in a relaxed, family atmosphere. Weekends are certainly very busy, and service inevitably suffers, but Mario and his staff strive to please everyone as best they can. It might be the fireplace lit in the winter, the always excellent and plentiful appetizers, the perfectly cooked grilled meats, the sausages, the arrosticini, the mutton... there's no question, you'll always return to Il Boscaiolo whenever you pass through Roccacerro.

We went for lunch.... a lot of potential that was poorly exploited.... the staff was also friendly.... no menu and therefore no prices... satisfying dishes... a grilled second course and a side dish.... a small appetizer that we shared, incomplete because the vegetables were missing...
