I've been here several times. Always very good, simple local cuisine, and the staff are very friendly. I recommend it to everyone. P.S. Park wherever you can and walk to the restaurant to avoid problems. A walk back after a large meal will do you good. While waiting for your food, there's a butcher shop next door that sells excellent raw sausages.

Sunday, August 17th, after the Zipline and swing, we were hungry given the time. It was almost 2:45 PM or a little later. A group of 18 people arrived, and despite the hour, they told us we could have lunch. This isn't always the case at restaurants... The result was: friendliness and kindness from the waitresses, especially the patience of the girl who took our order (let's just say we made a bit of a mess 😊😆), and a warm welcome. Anyway, the atmosphere was quaint, the food was excellent and of good quality, not to mention the very fair bill... I highly recommend it!

In San Mauro Castelverde, a small gem in the province of Palermo, lies a hidden restaurant that is a true discovery. The entrance, a small door that opens onto a welcoming and intimate world, promises a special experience. We were immediately greeted warmly and professionally by the attentive staff, who attentively escorted us to our table. The lunch was exceptional. Among the various options, I highly recommend the strozzapreti with wild boar ragù. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner. You won't regret it.

10/01/2026: Four of us had dinner: two with Smartbox and two of my guests. After reviewing the menu, we discovered that only a few appetizers and main courses were available that evening. My guests opted for only one first course: busiate pasta with Nebrodi pork sausage. The dishes arrived quickly, especially since there were very few of us in the dining room. The bill: €72.00 for two plates of busiate pasta and two tiramisu dishes for the guests. Furthermore, the total included two covers prepaid via Smartbox, which I found unfair. I didn't say anything. The food quality was average, with probably excessive salt use. The location could be improved, and the service was basic. On a positive note, the young cashier/waiter/handyman was courteous and helpful, although unfortunately not very knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, a decent experience, but with several aspects that need improvement.

Ristorante Zaytuna

12/01/2026: A very friendly and authentic restaurant, a culinary and sensory journey to Tunisia. The atmosphere and aromas made us feel like we were at a Tunisian family's home, not a restaurant! The very kind and welcoming chef prepares and manages everything himself. The dishes were prepared with so much love and flavor; it truly leaves a lasting impression. We'd go back a thousand times! An unforgettable experience in Palermo! Thank you again to the Chef!
