We had the best dining experience of our life here! The chef is one of those remarkably unique people who cares so much about food and puts his whole heart into his craft. We had a full gluten free meal, we had many options to choose from and we were absolutely amazed by each bite. 14/10, as much as I love to complain I have no notes here, we’ll be back as soon as we can. My best restaurant experience EVER! Gluten free or not, this is the best place to eat on this planet in my opinion. Food was beyond words and out of this world! And for coeliacs and gluten free, the chef was more than willing to make everything perfectly contamination free, while most items were made gluten free regardless. Interior design and lighting is cozy and very welcoming, nothing pretentious but still every detail considered. Cannot recommend this place enough, and especially recommend the chicken tempura!

My family loved our experience at this restaurant. Gabriele is an exceptionally kind host and was very patient with the limited Italian I know. My family agreed it was the best food they've ever eaten on vacation.
My stay in Italy lasted much longer because I had studied art in Rome, and this was also far superior to the food I ate there, among the best we've ever tasted. We dined here twice during our short stay in Florence, and it was exceptional both times!
Comic book fans, also look out for the Wolverine and Tintin decorations! :)

We had a truly beautiful meal at BOrGO last night! Attentive and interactive service that was genuine — no saccharine shows here.
The unexpected starter of ratatouille was exceptional, and that’s when I knew we were in for a real treat. House-made sourdough followed. It was also outstanding.
All three of us absolutely loved our entrees (two from the menu — don’t sleep on the cappellacci with guinea fowl ragu — and one special) and our shared dessert so much that we booked a reservation for 48 hours later— our last meal before departing Florence.

We've rarely experienced such a pleasant and welcoming host. The menu is small and exquisite, with no specific order of food. Everything is delicious and lovingly prepared. We would return.
