Everything was excellent; the kitchen staff were very good, and the dining room staff were super kind and welcoming! We had a tagliata, the cockerel, the maltagliati with wild boar, and the roast beef. The price was absolutely right. Special mention for the basket of apples in Calvados and vanilla ice cream, truly sensational! P.S.: There's some kind of AI-made stone print of the Last Supper on the wall, I just don't understand it 🥲

Excellent restaurant, we ate divinely.

The restaurant is located on an ancient Roman stable, and that's the central part; the rest of the place is spread out around it, with ordinary spaces that take away some of its charm. The food is very good, and we were particularly won over by the appetizers: fried polenta with stewed wild boar and fried panzerottini accompanied by Parma ham and stracchino cheese (I think they would have been even better with Tuscan ham). The tagliolini with truffle and maltagliati with wild boar were delicious. The dessert was very delicious (the wafer-shaped cup was a great idea).

I may seem like an exaggeration, but for a group of four, it was worth every penny. We had an appetizer with a double platter of local cured meats (we even polished off the lard), shared a 1,300kg Florentine steak (very precisely cut), and to top it off, a homemade dessert (and you could taste it). Needless to say, we've marked this place down as one of our favorite places to return to.

Il Borgo Antica Locanda is a truly outstanding dining experience! The food was incredibly delicious. I was particularly impressed by the pizza: the crust was perfect, thin, yet so flavorful that it was one of the best pizzas I've eaten in a long time. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality. It's definitely helpful to know that an English menu is available upon request. This makes ordering even easier and more enjoyable. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lively, and it can get a bit noisy at times, but this doesn't detract from the good mood. However, it's nothing that would spoil the visit, and the coziness and first-class food easily make up for it. In summary, I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Anyone looking for authentic, high-quality cuisine and a great atmosphere will find what they're looking for here.

Excellent quality food. From the fantastic pizza to the extensive meat menu, which after so many visits I've almost tasted everything. Gianni is an excellent owner, and we'll definitely go back.

Metti un sabato sera qualunque, passiamo di lì per caso, sentiamo se ha posto per una pizza, tempo poco siamo seduti e con ottime pizze nel piatto, davvero buone! Proprietario molto simpatico e lo staff gentile e molto professionale. Le pizze buone, ma anche il lato ristorante mi è sembrato invitante! Super consigliato!
