The food at Marietto is superb: above all, the very rare donkey stew! Try it, perhaps by letting us know a couple of days in advance (it may not always be available). Another specialty, but winter: the seven boiled meats. It's really worth it.

It is not obvious to find hospitality in mid-January in such a small village, but at Borghetto da Giulio, not only are you open (even on closing day), you eat very well, you have fun and you chat willingly (because he He's cute and funny.) In short, we had a really good time even if only for one night and above all we felt welcomed with warmth and familiarity. 17/05/2025: Huge burgers! First time ever I had to eat a burger with a fork and knife. Great flavor and well-prepared. If you’re looking for a break from pizza and pasta, this would be a good choice in Lucca.
15/05/2025: I always enjoy this place, so take my review with a grain of salt. Their menu is small and refined, focusing very well on a few key items. The burgers are good, the marinated veggies are great, but their hot dog is the real star.
