I start this review by clarifying that I NEVER give 5 stars. Restaurant with a meat vocation... very nice place located in a location where once there were also cellars! Very courteous staff. Moving on to the food... what can I tell you to do... I had gnocchi with white ragout of Chiania... a fairy tale! My husband took the mixed cheese and cured meat platter... all good and of excellent quality as well as the oil we find on the table. For dessert I took cantucci and vin santo! If I really have to find a flaw is on the coffee, but they offer it anyway! Recommended for the quality of the food and the value for money!

Typical environment, carved into the tuff rock. The managers are very courteous and the cook (the owner) is good.

A place with a very nice style, the meat is very good, you can choose the cut directly from the display and it is served on a stone with a brazier underneath that keeps it warm. The restaurant is devoted almost exclusively to barbecues, so the choice of first courses is limited to those of the day. Maybe a little expensive (at least for my pocket), certainly due to the quality of the meat.

Trattoria specializzata nella carne. ,Magazzino di costate dry aged invidiabile ma solo parzialmente utilizzato. La prossima volta quando tornerò vorrò scegliere io il pezzo da cui prelevare il mio piatto. Comunque degno di nota ed ottimo anche per la cottura. Meno felice il prezzo ma comunque se si vuole cose buone e valide si deve essere disposti a pagare.

22/01/2025: Così così. A due passi dalla stazione fs, a ridosso di corso Tacito, bel locale con un menù che spazia dal mare alla montagna e, credo, pure pizzeria. Forse un po troppo, ma comunque ben calibrato senza troppi pindarici voli. Qui ho ritrovato la mozzarella in carrozza -ormai sparita dai tempi di Ladri di biciclette- e una lasagna decente, che fanno 16 euro totali -tanto per dare idea sui costi, nella norma-. Non so se Alfio esista, io non l'ho visto, ma chi vi lavora è sufficientemente attrezzato a far bene. Tutto così così...se passate da quelle parti, entrate.
26/11/2024: Siamo state in questo ristorante a pranzo ed abbiamo deciso di tornare anche a cena. Locale confortevole e personale perfetto lo consiglio vivamente specialmente per il menù 😂 tutto da vedere 😁

20/01/2025: Una vecchia trattoria di una volta. Piatti della tradizione umbra, buona la qualità. Personale di sala gentile e cortese, un po' lunga l'attesa. Prezzi nella media del posto, manca un parcheggio. Assolutamente necessaria la prenotazione.
01/01/2025: Posto informale . Cucina tradizionale tutto buonissimo.Ci siamo stati a gennaio . Carciofi fritti buonissimo e anche pasta con carciofi tutto perfetto .da rifare assolutamente
