We stopped by chance on our way back from Pian Benot, drawn by the great reviews. We had a great time, and the food was truly delicious! We ordered two "tris" of our choice, choosing from all the options on the menu. Everything was truly exceptional: the Gorgo, zucchini, and saffron risotto was excellent, the agnolotti spectacular... We were truly satisfied with everything we ordered. And the dishes served at other tables were also very inviting.
The prices were very fair; we spent €50 for two: two tris, two soft drinks, water, coffee, and desserts (the latter to take away, because after the two tris we were quite full!). The place is quite intimate and cozy, the waitress was friendly and very welcoming, even with our four-legged friend. It will definitely be our regular stop when we're in the area.
In summary: a great discovery, highly recommended!

The 'Bivacco Matematico', recommended to us by the managers of the Usseglio Museum, was a delightful surprise.
The young owner offered a fantastic and warm welcome, attentively and enthusiastically serving us: the trios, each of us choosing our own, were delicious. The bread, wine, and homemade 'brutti ma buoni' desserts, which we were able to purchase from their deli, were excellent.
They were available to make our day an unforgettable memory, and the price was very fair.
Unmissable. We'd love to return!
Before heading to Malciaussia, we highly recommend stopping at the 'Bivacco Matematico'! A restaurant run with passion and originality. THANK YOU!

I always enjoy returning to Bivacco Matematico because Francesca and Mauro are so welcoming and the food is excellent. The bread is a true specialty, lovingly kneaded with sourdough starter and a select selection of flours. The ingredients are top-quality, and the dishes are meticulously prepared, an experience that gives me the pleasure of watching Mauro entertained and hard at work in the small open kitchen. The selection of wines, some of the best, and liqueurs is extensive. But Francesca's desserts are truly surprising. Yes, the desserts are a lovely surprise, and I'll leave the discovery to you.
The delights of this place are countless, yet here so many things matter because mathematics is not an opinion but an intriguing passion...

Tornando dal Lago di Malciaussia ci siamo imbattuti ,così per caso, in questa trattoria da 10 e lode..
Arriviamo alle 14:30 pensavamo che non ci facessero più accomodare invece con estrema gentilezza: prego ragazzi vi apparecchio subito il tavolo…
Passiamo alla parte pratica, menù valido ottime proposte lingua al verde,lumache, insalata russa,vitello tonnato, tagliatele al ragù di selvaggina lasagna coniglio trippa.. insomma un menu per gli amanti della buona cucina.
Noi scegliamo l’ opzione tris, tre portare a 17 euro…
Vi dico che è stata la scelta migliore..
non sto ad elencare le portate ma cibo di ottima qualità,abbiamo parlato con lo Zio Mauro( lo chef ) e ci ha detto che loro scelgono tutti prodotti non derivanti dalla grande distribuzione e il pane ed i dolci son fatti da Francesca(spero di non sbagliare il nome) e voglio fare un particolare complimento per la bontà dei dolci.
Io fuori dal tris ho mangiato 2 fette di crostata di frutta fresca cn crema pasticcera.. ragazzi tra frutta e crema son andato in paradiso..
Ci torneremo presto SUPER SUPER CONSIGLIATO.
Ps, Francesca la cameriera e socia oltre che per i dolci spicca per la sua gentilezza e per il sorriso con il quale ti serve ….

Trattoria informale e arredata in stile matematico. La cucina a cura di zio Mauro è genuina, casereccia e decisamente buona. Ottimo il servizio: simpatia e professionalità conditi dal sorriso. Riprenderemmo sicuramente la lingua al verde, il risotto e lo spezzatino. Prezzi davvero più che onesti.
