We didn't know it, we found it by chance, they found us a table almost at the last moment and it was a magnificent experience, kindness, a magnificent warm and welcoming environment, dishes all perfect and delicious, made with love. Exceptional value for money, unique in these times. I recommend the Bivacco Matematico to everyone, we will definitely return. I recommend finding out, there are really interesting courses and themed evenings! Well done!!

Place tested almost by chance on the occasion of the 2019 Valliadi. We went back today, and I can guarantee we leave even more enthusiastic. A place that feels like home, furnishings ranging from kitchen, mountain and mathematical objects. The restaurant is located in the room on the first floor, the environment is very nice and clean with an open kitchen. The first courses with roast sauce, tagliolini or agnolotti, are exceptional. The tongue with green bath is fabulous. The excellent dishes cooked by the chef, Il Bivacco, are brought to the room by the very nice host, Mathematics. You can sense that they both put their heart, love and a lot of professionalism into what they do. It is definitely a place we will return to.

Mauro and Francesca are two wonderful people as well as an excellent cook and excellent...everything else (in the sense of serving tables, making cash, helping out in the kitchen and I don't know what else). The raw materials are of excellent quality and Mauro manages to transform them into delicious dishes! The trio dish formula (3 courses chosen from everything on the menu) is always much appreciated by those who don't want to overeat. However, you can always order individual dishes a la carte like I did. The environment is always relaxing, especially when the room empties and you can have a chat with the owners. Even tonight we ate very well and drank very well too!

Excellent products resulting from attention to detail served with the friendliness of Mauro and Francesca. Very refined cuisine, dishes cooked "as they once were". The same dishes are offered as gastronomy.

Everything excellent! The best mountain restaurant I've ever been to. The owner is very kind and the prices are more than affordable Extremely good traditional Alpine cuisine! I will come back for sure!

Descrivere il Bivacco è come dipingere un paesaggio di montagna nella stagione che più si ama, Zio Mauro e Francesca sanno accogliere, servire e accudire la clientela con estrema maestria, con la loro gentilezza e semplicità ti fanno sentire a casa. Il cibo qualunque esso sia è curato nei minimi particolari, partendo dall'approvvigionamento della materia prima, alla cucina strepitosa con accostamenti favolosi. Per non parlare delle nuove esperienze culinarie che Zio Mauro non esita a proporre ad esempio domenica abbiamo mangiato il guanciale di asino ottimo da restare senza parole. Potrei continuare a dipingere il Bivacco ma non vorrei annoiare chi legge. La cosa migliore da fare è andarci come facciamo noi regolarmente. Buon appetito da Piero e family di Pianezza.
