The Bormio Thermal Baths were an interesting discovery, but several areas could be improved. Part of the facility is under renovation, and yet the price remains unchanged: €30 for the whole day. It's a shame the Olympic-size pool wasn't available, because it certainly would have made a difference. The main area, open to all, is more reminiscent of a water park complete with a 60-meter-long slide than a spa: children everywhere, screaming, and constant splashing. This is where the ten hydromassage stations are located, but they're practically unusable if you're looking for relaxation. The other pool has only two neck waterfalls, which are also often occupied. The situation changes completely in the adults' area (accessible to those 16 and up). Here, you can finally breathe in relaxation, and it's undoubtedly the area I enjoyed the most. In particular, at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, in one of the two saunas (the larger one with a mountain view), some very evocative rituals are offered: two young men take turns to the rhythm of music, melting flavored ice balls that release intense fragrances and heat, which are then diffused by choreographed movements of the towels. An experience that reminded me of the rituals at the Asmana Spa in Florence, truly immersive, except that here, after the ritual, you'll find excellent drinks and fresh fruit just outside for about 15 minutes. There's one downside, however: in this section, you're allowed to go without a swimsuit, but the presence of minors makes it rather awkward, so much so that no one seemed to feel truly free to do so. There's only one non-full-body hydromassage and a neck massage waterfall, so you have to wait in line...always. The Turkish bath, the emotional showers, and the Finnish waterfall with freshly defrosted water are beautiful. The changing rooms are very positive: modern, clean, with efficient showers and working hairdryers. The sunbathing areas are also comfortable and well-maintained, with plenty of loungers and umbrellas, allowing everyone to find their own space. The bar is useful, but the prices are quite high. The herbal tea room is beautiful and convenient, offering excellent herbal teas for free. A highlight is definitely the family area, designed entirely for children: child-sized loungers, games, and dedicated spaces make the day fun and convenient for families. Regarding costs: in addition to the €30 entrance fee, parking costs €4.90 for four hours, with an additional €0.70 for every additional half hour. I spent about €7 for my entire stay. Another downside is that it closes at 6:30 PM: a real shame, because it prevents you from enjoying the most magical atmosphere: watching the sunset while pampering yourself in the warm thermal waters. In short: these are not "classic" spas where you can escape to silence, but a large and versatile facility, more suitable for families than those seeking tranquility, with the added bonus of sauna rituals that are truly worth it.

The spa is beautiful. From the thermal pools, you can admire the mountains. A very relaxing view that perfectly complements the calm that spas, by their very nature, inspire. The food is decent, with both hot and cold dishes, and the prices are still affordable, €30 for the whole day. In short, my wife and I love it.

The atmosphere was clean and not too crowded, unfortunately, due to the ongoing renovation, part of the space was closed. Overall, it was very pleasant. I especially appreciated the ice bath, aromatic hamman shower, and the outdoor pools.

I spent a completely relaxing day with my family; it wasn't crowded, so we were able to enjoy all the available spaces. It was very interesting to discover that there's a wellness area (sauna and Turkish bath) dedicated to families, where children are welcome too. The pools for the little ones are lovely, and the water slide is lovely. If I really had to find a negative, it would be the lack of shower gel and shampoo dispensers in the showers.
