Lots of draft beer options as well as a few cocktails and non-alcoholic options. They serve popcorn with your order, and the service is friendly. Great neighborhood pub!

I was passing through Como and, looking for a pizzeria, I stumbled upon Birrivico. The sign and a Google search had misled me, making me think of a classic pizzeria-restaurant. Instead, I discovered a place that presents itself more like a burger joint, with a few unexpected additions, like spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino (a garlic, oil, and chili pepper sauce). I also tried the hummus. It's a cold spread typical of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, made with boiled and blended chickpeas, tahini (sesame sauce), lemon juice, and garlic. The most common spices added are cumin and paprika, but variations can include turmeric, coriander, chili pepper, or other spice blends. It's served as an appetizer, spread on pita bread, or accompanied by raw vegetables. The atmosphere is casual and lively, typical of a beer hall. The food, I must admit, didn't particularly impress me. I tried the spaghetti, and it wasn't anything memorable, either positively or negatively; a simple preparation, but lacking the flair that would have made it special. It seems the food isn't their main strength, or at least not in terms of the variety I expected. Il Birrivico's real strength is undoubtedly the beers. The selection is vast and high-quality, with options to suit a variety of tastes. If you're a beer fan, this is the place for you. I really appreciated the choice between different drafts and bottles, and the beers I tasted were excellent, served at the right temperature and with due care. In short, if you're looking for a good burger or a traditional pizza, you might be a little disappointed. But if your goal is to enjoy excellent beers in a relaxed atmosphere, Il Birrivico is a must-visit in Como.

Nach einem heißen Tag wollten wir was zu essen und ein Bier. Super Auswahl an Bieren und das Essen einfach fantastisch. Spezialität frittierte Calzone. Flach wie ein Pita Brot, aber gefüllt mit leckerem geschmolzenem Käse und Pilzen. Der Burger war ebenfalls sehr gut. Preise fürs Essen eher niedrig, Bier angemessen. Bedienung flink und freundlich. Du willst low carb und kalorienarm? Versuchs woanders. Alle anderen sind hier perfekt aufgehoben

Muy concurrido bar lleno hasta el borde de los lugareños disfrutando de una cerveza o 2! Lo que llamaríamos un pub. Pide y paga en el bar. Está lleno de recuerdos de fútbol e Italia estaban jugando la noche que visitamos, así que había un ambiente animado. Un montón de grandes opciones de cerveza. También es una tienda para que puedas llevarte un poco a casa también. Tiene asientos al aire libre y un patio.
