We were staying across the street at the hotel and based on the reviews I read we decided to grab a quick bite before going back to our room. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. My husband and I shared a paninni (they're a generous portion) and had some beers. The paninni did not disappoint! The spicy salami, smoked cheese with roasted bell peppers were a great combination with the focaccia. The beer was good too! The locals seem to be the frequent customers and seem to know the owner well. Overall it's very good food, drink, and atmosphere! If we ever have the opportunity to come back, we will definitely stop here again!

Old school bar, which makes gigantic and tasty sandwiches at good prices, if you are in a hurry and hungry this is the place for you.

Thursday afternoon, good takeout sandwich. €7 for a sandwich, which seems a bit high for a sandwich vendor at Gallarate station, but for the same reasons, it also seems like the right price, as it won't be easy to run a business in this location. Good anyway :) 👍

The Panini was delicious, one of the best we’ve had in Italy so far! It is just a smallish place, very local but comfortable. We felt welcome!
