A welcoming place, like the pubs of old. The beers are recommended by Francesco, who always finds a way to please his customers, even the most picky beer drinkers (like myself). The dishes are top-notch! I recommend the Pala.

Most excellent selection of 10 craft beers, possibly the biggest range in Pavia. Food is simple-on-the-go style, always with a weekly "special desert" which was lovely.

Very nice, welcoming place with an excellent choice of beer, both on tap and in bottles, all offered by producers unrelated to the big commercial brands. Even the food, an excellent "pub" menu, is of high quality and very tasty. A stop that will become a fixed point every time I come to Pavia again.

24/07/2025: Beautiful castle in a lovely park Magnificent room, but two negatives: the bell tower chimes every 7 a.m. and every half hour, and the shower doesn't run very strongly. Pool: pleasant with its deckchairs and open roof Bistro restaurant: perfect, we had a great time. Bar: friendly and attentive bartender. I recommend this place for a couple looking for peace and quiet.
23/07/2025: Superb hotel. Very pretty garden. The lounge bistro is very pleasant on the terrace. Attic pool.

06/07/2025: Take away menu with choice for three people, very nice and welcoming environment, food ready after a very short agreed time, all very good. Pappardelle, tempura, malfatti, etc.. very good. Honorable mention to the sardines in carpione, truly top. Last but not least, a gift of delicious biscuits. Worth the trip. Courtesy and smiles too. Thank you, we will be back! UPDATE: take away today 29/3/25, very punctual delivery and everything very very good indeed more. 😊 Delicate flavors and not covered by excessive salting like elsewhere, fried shrimp and calamari and tempura vegetables at the top, but malfatti absolutely the best in this area. Go there absolutely, it is money well spent. And last but not least, dreamy fresh cannoncini, free biscuits, takeaway packaging very well cared for in many details. To return monthly. Thank you! Update for another super take away for three and if there were four they would have eaten in five🤗 everything super and a ton of space cannoli, everything very good and well-kept as usual ✨🙏 always a guarantee, highly recommended!
