We celebrated my daughter-in-law’s birthday at Piroscafo Lombardia just after Christmas, and it was a wonderful experience.
The food was very good, beautifully prepared, and made even better by the wine recommended by the staff. The suggested wine pairing was fantastic and complemented the dishes perfectly. Prices were fair for the quality and overall experience.
What really stood out was the staff: extremely welcoming, attentive, and happy to explain every dish in detail. It was lovely to know exactly what we were eating, how each plate was prepared, and the story behind it.
The use of local ingredients was a big plus in my opinion and made the meal feel authentic and thoughtfully crafted.
A great place for a special occasion, with excellent food, wine, and warm service. Highly recommended. 🍷

An UNFORGETTABLE experience. Pampered from the welcome until the end, accompanied on the journey with impeccable explanations, politeness, and kindness. The Piroscafo is stunning, the atmosphere magical; if you're passing through Arona, it would be a crime not to go. It's wonderful to see people still so passionate about their profession. I've worked in food and beverage for decades and it's been a long time since I've had an experience like this. Not to mention the food and wine: excellent. Well done, well done, well done.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Dining on a steamship is a truly enchanting experience in itself, but here everything exceeded our expectations.
We were welcomed and accompanied by Zak, a dear friend and exceptional host, who guided us through the location with passion and care, making us feel immediately pampered. During lunch, he expertly recommended each course, pairing the wines impeccably and enthusiastically sharing the history and origins of each, making every bite even more special.
Excellent food, a unique atmosphere, and heart-warming, authentic attention: an anniversary we will cherish as a precious memory. Thank you so much for making this day unforgettable.

An absolutely incredible experience
Flawless from start to finish
The quality of the food, the professionalism of the staff, and the overall service far exceeded our expectations.
We are used to eating in good restaurants, but here we were won over by absolutely EVERYTHING.
A must-try at least once.
Many of the products are homemade.
The wines, the olive oil, the goat cheese…
We have already planned our next visit, with an overnight stay on the boat in one of the five sumptuous suites!

We went as a family. I booked on the morning of January 1st and the person replied immediately. They were incredibly attentive from the moment we arrived. We have absolutely no complaints about this place. We'll definitely be back. From start to finish, the tasting was delicious, and even the explanations about the dishes (he made the effort to explain them in French) were excellent. Everything was locally sourced and from their own harvest. Thank you so much for this wonderful evening, and see you soon!

My husband and I had been wanting to dine on the steamer for a while, and we finally did! The place is simply gorgeous: well-kept, clean, and with a truly special atmosphere.
The staff who looked after us was impeccable. We chose to dine à la carte, although a tasting menu is also available. We requested a wine tasting paired with each course and let Emanuel guide us: knowledgeable, passionate, and with a top-quality wine cellar. The wines served came from the Cellagrande winery, a truly remarkable winery. The other people who served us were also exceptional. Sincere compliments to everyone, truly.
The cuisine was a delightful surprise: clear flavors, carefully prepared dishes, and the highest quality. The culinary journey is a story that begins in the Aosta Valley and ends in Arona, on Lake Maggiore, and it is evident in every course.
We ordered:
Appetizer: a tasting of their cheeses and cured meats, accompanied by delicious honey.
First course: green leek risotto with mountain fontina, Erbaluce San Michele, and fried leek.
Second course: Piedmontese Fassona sirloin with Duchess potatoes, red cabbage, and fontina fondue.
Desserts: their gelato with its "amusements" and a Catalan cream made with sheep's milk blue cheese and mustard apple jam.
Coffee and delicious digestif.
At the end of dinner, they also gave us a complete tour of the steamship: it was fascinating to discover every corner and the history of the vessel.
They also told us that it will soon be possible to stay overnight on board, with five rooms available for guests. A new feature that makes the experience even more special!
A perfect experience in every way. We will definitely be back!
