good restaurant, poor value for money though

A beautiful restaurant on the sea, very characteristic. Very scenic but nothing special.

Around 380 euros spent and not even a bitter offered... first courses arrived almost cold, but in any case nothing special in terms of taste. second courses were very good, desserts and wine ditto, while the coffee arrived cold... the location is really beautiful, but the service is really bad considering what was previously mentioned + the fact that they poured the wine on our hands while they were serving it, they wanted to leave us the second course before the first course and they forgot to clear the table between courses and the other one we also point out the impossibility of finding parking within the lines on Tuesday evening (therefore an ordinary day)

The location is indisputable, you are practically on the sea and it is very romantic, very very beautiful. Go down a staircase from first inside the Stick and then continue outside, in wood. As soon as the wooden staircase begins, a sea view appears with the rocky coast and two small islands in front of you. Stupendous! Food, service, staff all perfect. The price is appropriate for what you receive.

We went to the Il Bastione restaurant for an important dinner with family and friends. We ate very well, starting with an appetizer of raw seafood with very fresh fish. The rest of the dinner was also of a high standard. I recommend it both for the food and the beautiful place. We thank the owner and staff for their professionalism, fantastic evening.

My partner and I went to this restaurant for dinner. We call to book, they tell us there is room. We show up at the restaurant and they put us at the last table at the bottom of the rocks, without even being accompanied. After 15 minutes we have to ask for the menu because they had completely forgotten about us. Request accepted, they bring us the menus and water. Then a good 30 minutes pass to order, I ask several times with my hand without being considered, until I have to get up to ask to order. We order and the starters arrive, but while we were eating they came 4 times to see if we had finished the starters because the starters were already ready. There was a rush in serving the first courses, but perhaps I would have thought first about how long we had to wait to order. It's a shame, the place is beautiful, with a view of the sea, but the staff... the restaurant's sore point (if it weren't for the blonde waitress). We definitely won't be back.

amazing location perfect food and cost ratio

Excellent place with tables overlooking the sea, truly elegant and very intimate. Fresh and really well cooked fish, beautiful presentation of the dishes, very knowledgeable and kind waiters. Prices a little higher than the local average but it's worth it.

Passando una giornata a Gallipoli ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante e devo dire pur essendo due coppie con due passeggini eravamo abbastanza comodi. Essendo uno chef di cucina all’arrivo dell’antipasto ho notato subito la freschezza e la qualità del cibo (complimenti al collega chef). Che dire semplicemente spettacolare sia dal punto vista del panorama e sia dal punto di vista della qualità del cibo. Prossima giornata a Gallipoli ci ritorneró assolutamente.
