We stayed at the Grand Italia Hotel, and were often there in the mornings and for aperitif time. Excellent breakfasts and aperitifs, too. A special mention goes to Valentina, the bartender, who was incredibly kind and always had a smile. Highly recommended!

I don’t understand why the ratings are so low. An excellent café to have a drink, and no complaints about the service. I’ve already been here several times and was satisfied every time. The staff also have extra stress because of the vaporetto station nearby, as many people come in to use the restroom without ordering. But that’s not the establishment’s fault.

Finally, a place with an espresso martini! All over Chioggia, you'll only find Spritzi in cocktail bars. We had pleasant live music and the atmosphere was great. The waiters were courteous but wanted to cash in right away.

Pleasantly surprised by this establishment. Don't be put off by its prime tourist location; this isn't a "too good to be true" concept. Delicious food and cocktails, friendly and attentive service, reasonable prices (although higher than elsewhere in Chioggia, but that's understandable), and of course, an absolutely fantastic location and ambiance. We had a wonderful lunch here during the weekly market with a beautiful view of the lagoon.

Very pleasantly surprised, as it's in a very "touristy" location next to the bridge and the water taxi. The service was very attentive; we received our drinks shortly afterward and a greeting from the kitchen in the form of a beautifully presented slice of smoked fish. The main courses were excellent in both quantity and quality; so far, it's the best fish restaurant we've found in Chioggia. They, like the desserts, were very lovingly prepared. The waiter was at our table regularly, asking about our needs. The restaurant itself is part of the hotel in the same building, and we're considering whether it might be worth a visit sometime. We'd be happy to come back! Thank you.
