This is one of the most beautiful places in italy, in October we had a wonderful table on the terrace with beautiful views. We started with a vintage Sagrantio which was excellent, antipasto plater was ample and amazing assortment the cherry condiment was a treat. The tagliatelle pasta with fresh picked wild mushrooms was out of this world, bread served with the meal was the best I've had in Italy. The service was great and our host was very friendly. Try to come early and tour the restaurant building with many pre Roman features. The restaurant has met many challenges during COVID-19 but has come out on top. They have renovated their patio and inclosed it in plexiglass and added heat lamps for chilly evenings We booked a table to celebrate our anniversary, the service was excellent and though our favourite wine was out of stock they recommended a good substitute. Food was very good and the desert was excellent. Call ahead for reservations because staffing is still anniversary issue.

A place where time no longer matters, you feel good and eat like you used to. Simple, genuine dinner, prepared like at home and above all served like family. Thanks to Carlo and his Lady for the welcome.

Really too expensive for what it offers. A minimum pasta cost of 18 euros seems a bit excessive to me. Good dishes with average, minimal portions. The place is charming, but they should lower the prices or improve the quality

The restaurant is located in an ancient building in Amelia that almost looks like a castle. We went for dinner on August 17th and I must say that there were few people... (perhaps everyone was still at the seaside?), this allowed us to enjoy such tranquility of the beautiful panorama that can be enjoyed from the terrace, among other things with a flight very beautiful light after a storm. Good traditional food perhaps slightly expensive but it's August... it fits... it's like that everywhere in Italy.

Giornata fredda invernale, di mercoledì. Dopo la visita alle Cisterne romane, guidati dal gentilissimo signor Riccardo, impiegato del Comune, nonché guida culturale, d'eccezione, perchè tutto chiuso... Ecco il momento rifocillante del pranzo in questo palazzo abbarbicato sulla parete tufacea delle mura di cinta. Accoglienza premurosa e vivace. Scelto il tavolo vicino al camino acceso, ho visitato ogni angolo del palazzo ammirando i mosaici romani, i mobili antichi e vintage, la collezione di sedie bricchi quadri attrezzi... E le tante salette e sale per gli ospiti. Scelto del vino rosso, Merlot umbro, ho gustato la faraona in salmi'con crostoni, le verdure grigliate e una millefoglie deliziosa. Il signor Carlo c'ha fatto compagnia raccontando fatti e aneddoti. Regalino: mandarini e mandaranci dalla splendido giardino profumato anche in inverno.
