With a group of friends we chose Il Baro for a small Christmas reunion. Historic place, at least for me. I came there as a boy with my school friends, when inside there were many walls that limited the space for the tables.
Today the environment is more comfortable and welcoming, although the style is more or less unchanged. Attentive and very helpful staff assisted us during the evening. Starters, delicious pizzas, well seasoned and with short waiting times as well as delicious desserts at the end, made it possible to spend a beautiful evening with great satisfaction also for the palate.

Very good pizza, the only thing was the almond parfait, for my taste, it tasted too much like amaretto.

Excellent in everything. Maybe a little noisy but certainly more than acceptable and also some difficulty finding parking.

Sono andata li per la prima volta, in famiglia.
Devo dire che il posto davvero affollato ma le pizze sono arrivate in un tempo direi giusto.
Hanno una vasta scelta di pizze e devo dire tutte buonissime. La mia era davvero buona, ingredienti freschi e gustosa ma a fare la differenza è di certo l impasto.
Per me che vivo fuori, è bello tornare nella propria cittá e trovare posti di qualità.

Very nice place, reservation time respected, we had a person with a disability and I was ready to welcome him. Excellent pizza, the employees all tidy in their uniforms and kind, always with courtesy and a smile. Menu quality-cost rating 9. Maurizio very kind.

La pizza del Baro da sempre e’ una certezza a Palermo. Impasto leggero e digeribile, ottima la cottura in forno a legna e la quantità e qualità ingredienti. La tre pomodori e’ ottima così come la paesanella con crema di carciofi. Giusto rapporto qualità prezzo

excellent pizza. Fast service.
After years I notice that takeaway pizzas are much more than those at the tables. And waiting when the place isn't full is not a good thing to experience as a customer.
From 5 stars years ago, I give 3 stars but only for this aspect just described.
The pizza as always is excellent.
