You eat very well.... Daily menu with various choices between first courses, side dishes and tasty second courses.. both for prices and for friendliness.. The chef is very good...

Very welcoming place despite all the disputes that see, at the moment, unacceptable divisions between MATERA AND POTENZA. Excellent quality of the products served and kindness of the staff. This judgment refers to the bar. I did not have lunch, but I intend to do so the next time I pass through that area.

Excellent quality/price ratio, which is very difficult to find today in Matera due to the exaggerated increase in prices due to a horrible mass tourism that has now exploded. Excellence in the dishes that an accurate chef serves, tickling the tastes of all palates, the list of dishes is very long and changes every day. Impeccable service, the skill of the barmen stands out in particular; coffee and breakfasts are served as soon as the sun rises with the frenzy and sweetness of bees in a hive; the friendliness and savoir-faire of those employed in preparing an excellent coffee close the circle. Lastly, be careful not to be caught unprepared when you get to the cash register, the always generous change could save your mood!!

Delicious breakfast, various types of bread, with cold cuts and sweets, delicious coffee, very nice service, very good prices, I recommend it :)!

I've been going there for years now and I have to say that I've always found really kind and courteous guys. Excellent service. You haven't even entered the bar and the curly lady is already making you find the coffee ready at the counter. The tobacconist is always well stocked. I'm sorry I couldn't try the cuisine again, but if I had the chance I would definitely come here! Advised!

09/06/2025: Great atmosphere, good food and beer, amazing view, mostly in the evening, recommend that. Paid 11,50 for everything on the picture, was really good
08/06/2025: The focaccia slice was really good, there are many flavors to choose from. 48-hour slow-rising dough. Very good. Staff a little slow to understand customer needs such as other focaccias to make or air conditioning.... Anyway, I recommend it if you don't have huge service expectations

Ai Palmenti

16/05/2025: We had a lovely meal at Ai Palmenti and the friendly service made for a special evening. The venue offers all the charm of the region with it's vaulted ceilings and natural stone walls. The menu was classic but with a few unexpected twists that were fun to experience! But most of all the welcome was warm and our hosts truly attentive. Thank you Farouk and team.
16/05/2025: Mi esposa hizo el menú de 28 €. Empezó con la ricotina al horno, hierbas y tomates caramelizados. Fantástico en un pedazo de pan. Para su segunda tomó el Spashettone con crema parmesana. La pasta era rojiza hecha de remolacha. Delicioso! Para el Main - la torre de berenjenas, mozzarella, albahaca y salsa de tomate. Una gran lasaña de berenjena. Tomé los raviolis con salsa de tomate amarilla. Probablemente uno de los mejores platos que tuve en este viaje. Para el plato principal tuve el salmón con mango, aguacate y ensalada de pimienta. ¡Delicioso! Vino: teníamos el pórtico. Atrevidos, bajos en taninos y afrutados. Excelente servicio y comida! Ven a probar el nuevo menú en esta antigua iglesia de la mediana edad. ¡Sensacional!
