Il Barbaresco In Gallarate

A small place, but with plenty of tables outside, with the characteristic atmosphere of a Bavarian gasthaus, but with an Italian twist. The dishes are inviting. The sandwiches and piadinas are beautifully made: no short hand! But have you seen (photo) the spritz bottle? The only thing missing is the rubber duck, it's so big! Besides Italian craft beers (which aren't my cup of tea), they also have excellent German beers, including a rare gem: Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier (smoked beer). Definitely worth a try. Soooo special. Friendly staff. Considering the type of place and its central location (in the middle of the pedestrian zone), the prices aren't at all expensive. On the contrary.

It's a great place for a drink and a bite to eat with friends. It's even better in the summer because you can sit outside and enjoy a delicious aperitivo just steps from the city center.
