Il Bagolaro In Venezia

After having been here on a previous vacation, we decided to come back to this restaurant, because of the overall great experience and the tasty food. This time, when picking up my pizza, I tripped on the way to my table and it fell to the floor. I was heartbroken, because from last time I already knew it was an amazing pizza that just came out of the oven and I obviously don’t like food waste. The service personnel took the time to not only cheer me up, but make me a second pizza, free of charge. They would not let me pay for it. (I had to slip a tip into a thank you note, because they really didn’t want me to pay but I felt bad about causing extra expenses etc.) They were all very kind and friendly, and went an extra mile to cheer me up, despite being busy due to lots of orders etc. On our next vacation, we’ll come back to this place, and I’m already looking forward to it (and making sure to be less clumsy this time). I can absolutely recommend coming here :)

The pizza is delicious, they have a lot of variety and they are very very friendly. I thought about giving fewer stars because I waited over an hour in total to get my pizza (half an hour in line plus 52 minutes for the pizza to be ready) but it was Saturday night and there were really too many people, so it's not their fault. Excellent service!

Excellent pizza, accompanied during the fish festival by the singing of the gondoliers. High quality products. Informal place, friendly staff.
