The dishes are well seasoned, even plentiful, but are good for people without intolerances and allergies of any kind, a little too touristy so you have to be careful about how the food is cooked, I'll explain better ask for a busiate pasta Trapani style, so anything except presence of prawns or crustaceans of any kind, well, no matter how excellent the dish, my wife risked anaphylactic shock, we stemmed it with intramuscular Bentelan and we opened but did not use a vial of adrenaline. All in all, for tourists """everything picturesque""" can be fine, with my star chef wife they hit the wall..... But don't see this review as a condemnation, this was simply our experience.

Ristorante Il Pirata di Marettimo

22/07/2024: Eravamo a Marettimo per il festival del cinema. Posto accogliente, uno dei più conosciuti sull’isola. Ottima pasta con la magnosa e pasta con i ricci. Servizio giovane e capace. Divanetti accanto i tavoli è una cosa in più che fa la differenza!
14/07/2024: Pasta con cicala di mare veramente squisita, con pasta di eccellente qualità. Pasta con le vongole con un po’ di sabbia. Locale troppo caldo, richiederebbe un miglior condizionamento o almeno ventilazione.

18/08/2023: We ate some delicious tartare, a seafood appetizer, a cuttlefish ink risotto and busiate with seafood, the only flaw being the mixed fry which, in addition to being very salty, included calamari, baby octopus and a, I mean a, prawn. The restaurant wasn't very full, despite this the service was very, very slow, for a cold appetizer and a first course, per person (there were 3 of us) an hour and a half, in my opinion it's excessive! In any case, the staff was friendly and kind, during the payment phase, to apologize for the inconvenience of the frying, I was given a discount of €5.00. Honest prices!
18/08/2023: Beautiful location in Selinunte. Careful and attentive service. Excellent dishes, good choice of wines Advised.
