On the corner of Campo de’Fiori (field of flowers) is a gem of a Napoletana Pizzeria. The bubbling and browned crust is outstanding and the sauce and toppings otherworldly. The staff is what makes Mariuccia truly special. Everyone from the greeter to the waitstaff, to the guy who delivers pizza to your table, want you to have a delightful and delicious dining experience. They are efficient, pleasant and friendly and check back frequently to make sure you have everything you need. I’ve eaten at many vero Napoletana pizzerias L’Antica in Naples, Spacca in Warsaw, Crusts in DC, San Tommaso in Valencia, Spain and they all leave you more than soddisfatta (satisfied) but Mariuccia leaves you enchanted as well. Another plus is the spacious and beautiful bathrooms— a premium in an ancient city. Yes you have to eat thin crust Roman styled pizza in Rome, but don’t leave Rome or Italy without trying Napoletana thick crust pizza at Mariuccia. Buon appetito indeed!

Please come here to try the best pizza in Rome! If you make your reservation in advance, they get it immediately, the pizza is excellent, I think the prices are below the average in Rome because the margherita we ate for 12 euros was almost the size of two pizzas!! I recommend it to everyone. There is no cover either.

One of the best pizzas I tried on my trip to Rome

A place I already knew for its delicious potato croquettes. The excellent quality of both the service and the croquettes was confirmed. The only important consideration is that in the stuffed croquettes provola is used which represents a fundamental ingredient, while in the simple and unfilled croquettes, instead of provola a similar product is used but not as good as the flavor of the provola. Therefore I would always recommend trying the super croquettes and not the simple ones.

One can always confidently say that Mariuccia offers the best pizza in Rome among other food .. highly suggested

Been many times and love it. Food is awesome and the service is always attentive without being too clingy, Sujon, Flori and Anita looked after us this time and we delighted to see us when we returned a few times on our latest trip. Always have their pasta which is perfect and this time also had the pork skewers too. Their wine is well priced and always a Good place to sit and have a chill after some walking around. Been in summer, April, October and December and each time to menu fits the climate. Don’t walk past it!
