A very beautiful and well-kept traditional restaurant, you arrive after a long hello. The entire menu is gluten-free, and the prices are fair. Special mention goes to the owner, a colorful and handsome man.

An unforgettable experience, featuring delicious food made with top-quality ingredients crafted with care and professionalism, the friendly, professional, and welcoming staff, and a touch of local history. The Saturday night "knock and the door will open" initiative, a chance to discover the city's hidden gems, is fantastic. In short, thank you, thank you, thank you!

A lovely restaurant with quality dishes, including gluten-free options (almost everything). Prices are reasonable for the quality. Local specialties and excellent wines. The first and second courses are very good (I haven't tried the desserts).

We were pleasantly surprised by Baccanale restaurant, a true gem in Assisi that goes far beyond simply good food. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but it was the owner's passion that made our evening truly special. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that celebrate Umbrian tradition. What made this experience unique was the owner's helpfulness and expertise, who revealed the history of this fascinating establishment, which dates back to ancient Rome. We were also accompanied on a tour, "knocking" on the door of the adjacent ancient convent, now Hotel Nun, where we visited the ancient Roman spa, a true hidden treasure. A dive into the past that left us speechless.

We found ourselves dining here on a warm August evening. The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the value was excellent. The icing on the cake was Pasquale, the manager, who after dinner honored us with a free tour of a former convent now a 5-star spa. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Entriamo da Baccanale per caso per ripararci dalla pioggia e perché volevamo pranzare ad Assisi. Locale molto carino e camerieri eccezionali (bravi/simpatici/giocosi/professionali). Menu molto buono e portate tipiche. Prendiamo un antipasto di salumi/affettati e altri sfizi. Più che sufficiente per due persone golose! Poi una strapazzata al tartufo e la porchetta con cipolla rossa. Ottimi e porzioni abbondanti. Vino della casa e acqua e pane. Totale 72€ Impagabile la simpatia del cameriere che ci ha illustrato le origini del locale!
