We were very well received by the owner, who told us a bit about the history of the place. Quality food. A place to come back to without any worries.

Quality, courtesy and Friendliness (with a capital S) are the three adjectives that best describe the place. Excellent combination of quality and price. I recommend Baccanale to anyone visiting Assisi.

SPACIOUS OWNER! We are from Rome and we found this wonderful restaurant! Excellent dishes, carefully prepared and presented in an excellent way. Wonderful location bordering a wall from 100 BC. YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO TRY THIS RESTAURANT. It will be one of your favorites

We had lunch here and loved it! A little out of the way but well worth it. Good wine recommendations. Delicious meatballs. And the pasta was simple but still some of the best we had during our entire trip.

Entriamo da Baccanale per caso per ripararci dalla pioggia e perché volevamo pranzare ad Assisi. Locale molto carino e camerieri eccezionali (bravi/simpatici/giocosi/professionali). Menu molto buono e portate tipiche. Prendiamo un antipasto di salumi/affettati e altri sfizi. Più che sufficiente per due persone golose! Poi una strapazzata al tartufo e la porchetta con cipolla rossa. Ottimi e porzioni abbondanti. Vino della casa e acqua e pane. Totale 72€ Impagabile la simpatia del cameriere che ci ha illustrato le origini del locale!

Questo locale è caldo e accogliente. Il personale molto gentile. Buono il cibo. Vari taglieri e una “zuppa fagiolina” buonissima.

Locale piccolo ma accogliente con una sua storia millenaria avendo da un lato le mura medioevali della città di Assisi, per il resto cibo con poca scelta ma buono nel suo complesso come il servizio.

30/06/2025: Located in the countryside and far from the chaos of the city, Locanda Rovicciano offers attentive and tasty cuisine. The menu is varied and carefully prepared, the service is fast and professional. We stayed at the property for the second time. The apartment we slept in is rustic, clean and spacious. I heartily recommend it to anyone who loves cooking, chef Andrea is a guarantee!!
11/06/2025: Spent a nice summer evening here. Ate outside. Pleasant location in a well-kept garden. An old Golden Retriever was sleeping. Ate well. The highlight was fried brains, which I hadn't eaten since the mad cow epidemic. Nice memory. Service not slow and effective. Friendly Florentine chef. Reasonable prices. We'll be back.
