Having dinner inside a historic building from the Roman era is already enough, I think. Instead, you find yourself eating a super platter of incredible cold cuts and cheeses, especially the lentil flan, then you continue with a plate of strozzapreti with ricotta cream, sausage and truffle. And dessert? Wait though. Because at a certain point the service stops, warned by a call from Campanella and as if by surprise the owner briefly explains the history of the place where you are eating! To finish, you then have a nice Rocciata where inside you find all the flavor of an ancient recipe. Highly recommended. We had dinner for two and we didn't even take a photo. Yes, because we were more attentive to looking at the walls, the ceiling of the place and the dishes than taking the phone from the jacket😂. We really felt at home!

When you enter here, at the Bacchanal, you immediately feel welcomed by a rare and delightful atmosphere!! The hospitality is impeccable, I dare say touching!! The proposal is honest and appropriate to the place. The platters and the selection of cheeses are a riot of flavors and imagination. The pork shank then fills you with amazement and wonder at its goodness and delicate flavour. The desserts are impeccable as is the wine selection.
I am happy with this discovery.

Crazy! Saturday, wonderful experience. The preparations are top and the advice on wine is excellent.
Starter: cured meat platter, followed by scrambled egg and truffle. A pure Sangiovese wine.
Alright! Super.

Exceptional, quality food; friendly and helpful staff; wide choice of wines as it is also a sort of wine shop. There are few tables so booking is highly recommended. They immediately provide you with delicious bread and a homemade vinegar with quince. The prices may seem high, but they are more than fair given the quality of the food and the generous portions. The environment is very nice and quiet. Absolutely recommended.

SUPER RECOMMENDED.... Very nice place with excellent food, friendly and kind young staff, the CHEF as well as being friendly and helpful you can see from afar that he is very competent in the combinations of ingredients, last note and no less important the entire menu is also GLUTEN FREE with homemade pasta first courses. On the next passage through Assisi the BACCANALE will be a pleasant and obligatory stop.

Ristorante situato nel centro storico, in posizione un po' defilata ma raggiungibile facilmente a piedi. Il locale è molto curato ed è sapientemente gestito dal personale, che con la sua simpatica ma non invadente presenza accompagna il pasto. Piatti preparati a regola d'arte con una proposta semplice ma di gusto. Prezzi davvero competitivi rispetto alla proposta. Consigliatissimo
