The place was very welcoming and clean, the staff were very courteous and kind, they made us feel at ease straight away. The courses began with a pleasant, very good and plentiful mixed starter accompanied by a pleasant, very well-matched red. Afterwards we all decided on an excellent coarse-grained polenta with mushrooms.
Absolutely recommended place.

If you love each other, treat yourself to a lunch or dinner at the bacchanal.
As soon as we arrived we were immediately greeted with friendliness and kindness.
We ordered a mixed starter of cold cuts and cheeses, the salumaio, a strozzapreti pork butcher with truffle, strangozzi with porcini mushrooms and truffle and a bottle of red wine. All of excellent quality, delicious.
Between one course and another, the chef, the owner, came out of the kitchen to tell us the story of the "walls" of what is now the bacchanal but which centuries ago was first an acropolis and then a stable.
Highly recommended! It's difficult to find places with excellent quality food, attentive and friendly staff and that touch of personality that makes the difference.

Il Baccanale is one of those places that makes you fall in love with its culinary offering, majestic cutting boards, refined wines, super friendly dining room staff, beautiful display of products available for purchase... the gluten-free offering is also excellent what do they have! (which is why we ended up there)
The only flaw, if I may allow myself... the coffee (... come on, find a better blend to help us finish our lunches ;) )

Ristorante situato nel centro storico, in posizione un po' defilata ma raggiungibile facilmente a piedi. Il locale è molto curato ed è sapientemente gestito dal personale, che con la sua simpatica ma non invadente presenza accompagna il pasto. Piatti preparati a regola d'arte con una proposta semplice ma di gusto. Prezzi davvero competitivi rispetto alla proposta. Consigliatissimo
