The place is small but very quaint. The hand-drawn paper placemats featuring various anime characters are lovely. I ordered the "Ichiban" ramen: very tasty and flavorful broth, fairly tender bacon, and heavenly marinated eggs! I could have eaten more marinated like this! The mushrooms and bamboo, however, were not very tasty. The price is a bit high, but the portion of ramen is generous. The bathroom is also quaint, with a section of the wall featuring anime characters. I would have liked it to be cleaner and more upscale.

The food isn't bad, but it was a bit too hot inside. I understand the "setting" where you sit on the water crates, but they're really uncomfortable. The menu has very little variety. With a few tweaks, it could become a good chain.

Wonderful manga setting. It feels like being catapulted into Japan. The place, in the university area of ​​Verona, is spread over 2 levels. On the first floor you can sit on very comfortable bottle crates and “improvised” tables in a great Street atmosphere, in the basement you will find walls painted with famous manga. The bathroom was a surprise. The tiles are Lupin themed! I love it! The food is delicious and the placemats are collectible. I leave you all the photos for description!

I came from Vicenza on purpose because it had the best reviews, but in the ramen the eggs were still cold and the noodles were all stuck together like mush and in general the ramen was quite disappointing compared to other ichiban I've been to, but at least the service was excellent and the macha tiramisu was truly perfect and these 2 things raised the score!

03/11/2025: We go there often. They make pizzas that in my opinion are the best in the area (and beyond). If you happen to take one home and reheat it the next day... it's just as good as freshly baked. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. They also have pizza by the meter... fantastic. The traditional cuisine is also good. I recommend it. Excellent value for money.
15/08/2025: We ate here three evenings. The food was excellent, with generous portions, and the value for money was more than good. The decor was rustic, without any frills. We'd go back anytime.

31/10/2025: Very patient and kind gentleman. We went in to get the kid some ice cream, and there was a smell of gelato I hadn't smelled in a long time! It's no coincidence that it's always been called the best ice cream shop in the area... My parents used to come here when they were engaged and always spoke highly of this ice cream shop, which, it seems, has remained faithful to the goodness and craftsmanship of the past.
