Ichiban Ramen In Verona

Wonderful manga setting. It feels like being catapulted into Japan. The place, in the university area of ​​Verona, is spread over 2 levels. On the first floor you can sit on very comfortable bottle crates and “improvised” tables in a great Street atmosphere, in the basement you will find walls painted with famous manga. The bathroom was a surprise. The tiles are Lupin themed! I love it! The food is delicious and the placemats are collectible. I leave you all the photos for description!

I came from Vicenza on purpose because it had the best reviews, but in the ramen the eggs were still cold and the noodles were all stuck together like mush and in general the ramen was quite disappointing compared to other ichiban I've been to, but at least the service was excellent and the macha tiramisu was truly perfect and these 2 things raised the score!

The closest Ramen to the original you will find in the area. The environment is perfect for anime and manga lovers, even the music is in Japanese and you can often hear some openings and endings of famous anime, as well as being able to see small references to Japanese stations or posters of festivals that take place there. There are two types of Ramen, one with a thicker broth and the other lighter. I also recommend the Aimen without broth, it is much tastier than it seems, and don't forget the Gyoza (meat ravioli) and especially the green tea tiramisu (book it at the beginning of the meal, otherwise they will be sold out)! It is advisable to call to book, places are limited. P.S. after trying the Ichiban in Verona, Vicenza and Padua, I can say that the quality of the one in Verona is definitely superior!

La prima volta che ho mangiato il ramen è stato all’Ichiban Ramen di Verona e devo dire che da quel momento l’ho amato! Saporito al punto giusto, giuste opzioni di scelta quindi il menù non è vastissimo ma secondo me offre il giusto compromesso in base ai gusti della clientela. I ravioli sono eccezionali e si sente che sono fatti a mano!

The ramen was good, it lacked a little depth of flavor but was still appreciable, the ravioli on the other hand were an ordinary product placed there, the desserts were both good but the dorayaki was slightly two-dimensional in taste compared to the matcha tiramisu.

I have been frequenting the place since it opened and it has now become a meeting place to celebrate special occasions or meet up with someone after a long time. The atmosphere is very nice, the place instills a lot of warmth and despite all this time the food always remains good and comforting, to the point that every time I come back I always get the same things because I like them 😅 Well done and always kind, the Asian girl ❤️
