A well-known and popular spot with locals! The owner is lovely and always smiling, and she's happy to explain the ingredients in her homemade dishes. We opted for: - pasta with mushrooms, guanciale, and chestnuts - lasagna al ragù - spinach and Swiss chard with garlic - meatballs An authentic and truly delicious place 🇮🇹

Most authentic experience. Best food in Pisa. Walked past and stopped by the smell of fresh food, all laid out in the window to choose from. I got a mix and match of all the things I wanted. Local people coming in to eat home made food at local prices! They even vacuum seal food to take away!

Yesterday we had lunch and enjoyed a farro and bean soup, exceptional! Orecchiette with turnip greens was fantastic! And then the chocolate cake, even reheated, was the grand finale!

Toscan home style food, that was what we were looking that day for a lunch, locals only, except us eating there 😅 Food was tasty, stuff is friendly but prices a bit unclear when you look at the receipt you get.

We came here last February, didn’t plan was walking past late morning. The smell was amazing everything looked so good we had to go in. First time in Italy, first time trying aubergine Parmigiana and white lasagna. Their potatoes were amazing aswel. Ever since I have been ordering these dishes but they haven’t been as nice. Thank you for welcoming us in and for your original recipes that has been handed down through your family run business.

A true Italian restaurant and caterer, all in a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. Dishes come straight from the oven right in front of you, prepared by the husband who cooks them, and served piping hot by his wife. A plate costs €10, so don't hesitate to fill your plate generously! The lasagna is incredible.

Traditional Italian food, well-prepared and with a homemade taste. Simple, generous portions at very reasonable prices, far from the tourist crowds.

Unique atmosphere, worth a visit. Excellent food, always different, also available for takeout. Superb staff.

Simply fabulous! First courses, second courses, side dishes, desserts!! You'll find even the bread alone fantastic... The name is fitting because they only offer dishes with traditional flavors... those of your grandmother... those flavors that take you back to when you were little... those flavors that make you feel something.

Great food, especially the porchetta and lasagna. Authentic cuisine and super friendly staff.
