I'd been there a while ago and had fond memories, so I wanted to return with my wife, and I regretted it.
The place wasn't even very busy; we were told we'd have to wait 20-25 minutes because there was a large table. Since there were only two of us, I asked if we could do ourselves a favor and order the two pizzas in advance.
Well, they arrived exactly 47 minutes later. When I pointed this out, the waitress, instead of a simple apology—which I thought was appropriate—snidely told me she didn't have a magic ball to estimate the wait time.
And the pizza wasn't what I remembered. I won't be going back.

The tartare and pizza are delicious. The lunch prices are very reasonable. I always enjoy going there when I'm in the area. The place is very beautiful and quaint. The staff is attentive and friendly. It's worth it.

Nice, welcoming place, friendly staff. The pizza is delicious (if you like Neapolitan-style pizza), and we order it every Saturday or Friday. The best pizza in Gorgonzola and the surrounding area, I highly recommend it.

We had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated at the second table, and a good hour or so to get our pizzas. No one offered us any alternatives while we waited, but we asked for chips and water... and then the wait was too long for our pizzas at around 10:30 PM...
It's not the first time I've been there, and it's not by choice. I don't like this pizza, but what I've never understood is the lack of toppings. The friarielli and luganega pizza was more mozzarella-based than anything else, and a request for prosciutto and overcooked buffalo mozzarella wasn't honored, even though I specified it several times. The photos speak for themselves.
The place is nice, but it can't be the only reason to return.

Welcoming place, professional service, excellent pizzas, perfect risotto, and superb Sicilian cannoli (and I say this even though I'm not a fan of that dessert). A lunch to remember and repeat. Well done!
