I returned to this place after having already been there once when I was in Palermo. Very clean environment, all the people (from Mr. Giovanni who I believe is the owner to Carmelo and also other guys) friendly and approachable I relied on Caemelo, and ate: smoked meats with the flavor of Sicily (sword salmon with delicious cherry tomatoes, orange and lemon), excellent scialatielli with swordfish and to conclude a semifreddo with chocolate and almonds, all with passito from Pantelleria An excellent dinner and I thank Carmelo for giving me good advice and for the service

The quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff is unparalleled. The place, although small, is super welcoming. The products are fresh and freshly prepared, nothing like the ready-made rubbish they sell in other places. We will definitely be back!

We spontaneously came across this gem on our first evening in Palermo. 😍 Although the restaurant was fully booked, the courteous boss made it possible for my darling and I to get a seat.🙏 The food was excellent and the service was very friendly. 😋 We were personally bid farewell with a handshake by the senior partner. We were so excited that we immediately reserved for another evening 😇

A good surprise! Fresh raw materials cooked with love and professionalism. We took two starters and two first courses that scream Sicily but cooked in a modern way. Right portions and sometimes abundant. All freshly cooked. Small but welcoming place, perhaps it's better this way with few seats.

Habíamos estado en I Sapori del Mare la última vez que estuvimos en Palermo y tuvimos un gran almuerzo. Estaba tranquilo entonces, pero éramos las únicas personas allí esta vez. Lamentablemente eso significa que no hay atmósfera. La última vez se salvó porque los propietarios vinieron a charlar con nosotros. Esta vez no. Aunque somos felices en nuestra propia compañía preferimos no ser los únicos comensales. La comida era muy buena, aunque sí creo que el entrante era un poco caro para un par de trozos de salmón ahumado y un par de trozos de atún ahumado (de memoria 16€ ) que compartimos. Acepto que todo el pescado es caro en estos días, pero esto fue solo un poco caro. Los platos principales eran excelentes y buena relación calidad-precio. Habíamos comido suficiente, pero habíamos dejado espacio para el postre. No había señales de que nos ofrecieran nada más, así que nos fuimos. El único miembro del personal de servicio era muy agradable, pero sin compromiso real.

Habíamos oído cosas buenas sobre este lugar. Estábamos a veinte minutos a pie de donde estábamos alojados en Palermo, pero lo buscamos y nos alegramos de que lo hiciéramos El resultado: algunos de los mejores platos de marisco que he comido en el restaurante más fresco y servido por el anfitrión más amable de la historia.
