I San Pietrini In Roma

This was one of the best places I’ve eaten in Rome. The food was incredible, wine recommendations spot on, and outstanding service. Marco took such good care of us and made our experience so enjoyable and we can’t wait to return for another delicious meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyed by locals and tourists!

The food is very good. We ate real Italian pasta, we ordered some carbonara that were spectacular and some truffled funghi that were also delicious. Very pleasant treatment. Super recommended.

After a full day of traveling with a flight cancellation and last-minute rerouting through a couple of  busy airports, we were ready for a quiet evening.  We have been to Italy several times and to Rome a couple of times (but not recently).  We were looking for a place to eat dinner close to our hotel but away from the crowds, with some ambiance and good food, and we found it at  Ristorante I San Pietrini !   As tourists from America, we were early for dinner (7:30) but were warmly received. The place was small (by American standards) but the menu and wine list were extensive.  I am sure that they were disappointed that we only ordered simple dishes from the Pasta Course menu but the service was great, the prices very reasonable, and the food was excellent.   Along with a glass of red wine, I ordered the Cacio e Pepe and my wife ordered the Zuppa del Giornon (pasta e fagiola).  Both were excellently prepared and well presented.  It was a perfectly tasty  end to a long day.

Very good restaurant. I'm here for the second time and San Pietrini is the best, even excellent, compared to the neighboring restaurants. We were a family of eight people and everyone liked the food very much. Normal prices and food very fresh and tasty. The place has a very nice interior and the background music is not intrusive :)

Good food and attentive and friendly service

The food was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. My wife and I tried the lasagna and two different pinsas (pinse?)--the Roman version of pizza--and had a carafe of red wine to go with it all. In addition to the wonderful food and service, this restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with a touch of whimsy. As we ate, we listened to soft music playing in the background, and my wife noticed it was someone singing The Smiths in Bossa nova style!

All good and typically Roman. Very honest price.

La comida era deliciosa, y el servicio era rápido y amable. Mi esposa y yo probamos la lasaña y dos pinsas diferentes (pinse? ) - - la versión romana de la pizza - - y tomamos una jarra de vino tinto para acompañarlo todo. Además de la maravillosa comida y servicio, este restaurante tiene un ambiente relajado con un toque de capricho. Mientras comíamos, escuchamos música suave sonando de fondo, y mi esposa notó que era alguien cantando The Smiths al estilo bossa nova!

Buona cucina romana a due passi da Piazza San Pietro: discreta la cacio e pepe, mentre ottime le polpette della casa con il sugo.
