We took part in the sunset picnic organized by Fai, the basket was prepared by the restaurant inside the villa. Everything is delicious, from setting up the lawn to taking care of the food. Very kind staff. We will definitely be back to be pampered at a dinner.

Wonderful location in Villa Fai, very nice and elegant restaurant, exquisite food. Suitable for events and romantic dinners. Absolute peace. The idea of ​​a picnic basket with high-end gastronomy products inside is brilliant. High level staff, courteous, prepared and friendly. They make you feel at ease straight away. Extremely recommended.

We had lunch outside, under the vines. Given. Damp tablecloth (it must have rained during the night and they didn't change them), an annoying humidity. Black dots on the tablecloth, coming from screws, normal, but a dusting could be done every now and then. Menu: it is not displayed and is not given to us, but the waitress lists it verbally, without telling us the prices. We take 4 first courses (12 euros each), 2 waters, 1 coke and 2 coffees. 75 euros! What raises the cost is 4 euros cover charge each, absolutely excessive for the lack of care. Food: nothing special, non-classic lasagna with an unidentified spice inside (maybe better to give the Menu where the ingredients are specified) In short, I don't recommend it. On a positive note, the waitress was very kind.

It is a private business, the FAI manages the premises and the garden. We knew we would pay a little more and we don't argue about the quality of the product, but honestly the vitello tonnato was quite a mouthful. The possibility of having a picnic prepared is attractive: straw hats, mats, canvas bags for transporting products of which there is a different choice. We don't know the cost, but if compared to the cost of the restaurant we assume it is not insignificant. To date, based on our experience, I would recommend a place outside the villa or bringing a picnic bag from home to enjoy it along Viale dei Tigli, under the spinning mill and the meadows. In the morning we had consumed a good coffee: €1.50 CAD. In capsule, but understandable given the non-continuous activity.
