The service and the food were absolutely top-notch. Sure, the portion sizes and the amount of wine are debatable. But the quality was just right for me. The wines served paired perfectly with every course! Yes, it's expensive. But you can see that when you look at the website. So, I don't really understand the 1-star reviews...💁‍♂️ Certainly not something you'd go to every day. But definitely worth the experience!!😍

Sicilian cuisine with a gourmet touch. Excellent

Everything was remarkable. Our testing menu included 10 dishes and took over three hours, so make sure you allow plenty of time to fully experience this restaurant. For someone who grew up in Sicily it was a pleasure to taste so many flavours that reminded me of my childhood and of typical dishes that are made in completely different and creative way. Friendly service. Would definitely go back 😊

Truly amazing experience! Everything was thought through - even down to the waitors' clothes matching the interior. We had the traditional tasting experience, presenting Sicilian classics but in a new way; either served in a completely different, interesting way (e.g. in the shape of Sicily) or using other ingredients but matching the original, intended taste. Fully deserving the Michelin star - and to a much more affordable price (compared to danish prices).

Food was delicious, inventive, and well thought out. First dish we had was the only one that was missing a little salt or citrus but still very good. Staff was kind especially the gentlemen that assisted us. Timing of plates though was one of the worst ive had at a michelin. Started off very well but quickly went sour. Between the 5th and 6th dish we waited 39 minutes. I have never in my many visits to fine dining had to wait that long for a dish. Really left a bad taste in my mouth and partially ruined the experience. Also, it was very hot in there.

Excellent food, poor and condescending service. Pro: excellent presentation and most of the dishes were very good. The chef knows what he’s doing and probably has a good team in the kitchen. Con: waitress was not impressed with us, a family of five with three quiet teens/pre-teens, perhaps as we only took the five course tasting menu. Sommelier paired the tasting menu with a glass without telling us one thing about the wine nor asking for our preferences. We had an ant in one of the kids dishes, instead of simply apologizing and replacing, waitress grumbled that she didn’t see anything and took it away, though it was replaced. They brought out the desserts, one short (4 instead of 5), so my wife didn’t have one of the desserts, they didn’t bring the 5th one out. Feels like the service thinks treating customers badly gets them points. Instead, they just look like fools.

Un amica mi ha fatto conoscere questo ristorante a Bagheria. Devo dire che tutto è preparato con prodotti molto buoni e con grande tecnica dal cuoco. Il locale è carino, il conto è corretto ed esci fuori con i sapori della sicilia in bocca.

Ottima esperienza, ottimo cibo, ottimo servizio. Ambiente accogliente. Piatto migliore il finto tramezzino con affettato di ricciola e salsa asiatica.

an incredible experience! The trip to the States with wine and food tastings was truly exciting. The flavors and atmospheres that I experienced certainly left an indelible mark on me. What were the dishes and wines that impressed me the most? The sea urchin, extraordinary!!! I highly recommend, I would give it 2 stars ⭐️ ⭐️

I had the pleasure of having dinner for my birthday at I Pupi, well what can I say? Excellent culinary experience, impeccable service, never intrusive, pleasant atmosphere. When I go to starred restaurants I always try the 10 courses as the first time and I must say that this was the only time I was satisfied with all 10 dishes, beyond my expectations, the love and passion that the chef has in cooking every single dish and making it unique comes straight to the palate.. congratulations and we will return to taste other "works of art" because that's what they are unfortunately I didn't take photos of all the dishes but I'll share some ....
