I Pupi In Bagheria

I had dinner at this restaurant a few weeks ago. The place is very small and minimal and I immediately noticed things that I usually don't find in starred restaurants, especially the location of the tables being excessively close which did not allow for privacy. Accompanied in our choice by the dining room staff, we took one of the tasting menus. The experience was truly remarkable, the chef has what I would say is a unique flair, which manifests itself both in the taste of the dishes and in the unusual and inviting presentation. It was a journey into unusual and pleasant flavors and combinations. The dessert is a sore point, a simple cassata broken down into a sphere of sugar which included the addition of coffee. When I said I didn't take coffee, I was left with the dessert without any accompaniment, so much so that I pointed out that it wasn't pleasant to me. I think that since I didn't drink coffee and therefore couldn't enjoy the chef's creation in its entirety they should have replaced the dessert. Even the small pastry offered at the end didn't seem particularly good to me. For the rest, an experience of unique flavors.

Merita indubbiamente di più.. Per me la seconda è alle porte .. Cena romantica in compagnia di mia moglie accompagnata da un'elegante atmosfera. Inzio col dire che il servizio di sala è stato impeccabile . Ordiniamo il menù da sette portate e che dire un tripudio dietro l'altro, Sentite e gustare la tradizione non è da tutti ma lo chef Lo Cocco insieme al suo staff riesce a farlo , ci siamo sentiti coccolati dall'inizio alla fine allo stesso modo .. Un'esperienza da ripetere e soprattutto da consigliare..

Excellent from every point of view. And every time there are delicious new things on the menu. The best place to eat in the province of Palermo. Try it to believe it!

Creative dishes with a modern twist on Sicilian classics. Extensive wine list with knowledgeable sommelier, attentive wait staff and overall a good fine dining experience! We dined for around 3 hours, left feeling satisfied and very full! Definitely a great way to spend our last night in Sicily! Very pricey but nonetheless an experience in itself.

One of the best meals we had in Sicily! Raised the bar on the local ingredients where every dish had the right level of creativity without sacrificing flavor. Service was impeccable. The chef decides on the dishes to serve you but when I saw one of the dishes another table had I was very jealous. I mentioned it to the server and they ended up serving me that too! The best dish was definitely their version of a bruschetta. Just wow.

1 Michelin star restaurant in the center of Bagheria. We chose the unusual Sicily menu and it was a wonderful discovery. The revisitation of Palermo street food, in my opinion, is the most fun part. The dish with sea urchins is the best

Ieri ho avuto il piacere di cenare al ristorante I Pupi per il giorno del mio compleanno. Ringrazio il mio compagno per il regalo molto gradito, e soprattutto Laura, Jessica e Andrea e lo chef Tony per la loro ospitalità e professionalità. Abbiamo scelto il menu degustazione da 10 portate ( la nostra storia ) Un percorso ricco di identità e sapori decisi che stimolano tutti e 5 i sensi.

The three stars are not due to the quality of the food which is indeed of the highest quality, but simply because one course was missing. It's not the first starred restaurant I've been to and we've always been offered entrée, pre-dessert and small pastries. If in a 10-course menu you consider me the entrée to be, you cannot also give it to those who have chosen the à la carte menu.

Service was excellent. The food was delicious. So much thought had gone into their vegetarian tasting menu. Portions are generous.
