Beautiful restaurant, very kind and friendly, recommended

The outdoor area is beautiful, with a lovely view and a serene atmosphere. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. It was definitely worth every penny. The portions were very generous and the taste was exceptional. The staff was very accommodating to our little ones. The young lady who served us was very polite and always available for any requests.

Favorite restaurant for traditional food. Starting with the ambiance, the interior is beautiful and well-furnished. You'll find yourself within thick, ancient walls and a warm, comfortable atmosphere. The outdoor setting, set in a beautifully kept garden near the Carrega woods, is also beautiful. I highly recommend the freshly made tortelli di erbetta and the green ravioli "I pifferi." We usually share an appetizer for two, two first courses, and one second course; given the generous portions, it's enough for us. Along with the bread, they also serve torta fritta, which is very good. Very knowledgeable and friendly service; they know what they're serving very well and are always reliable when in doubt. Very good value for money considering it's in Parma.

I went to Pifferi for a baptism, and compared to what I'd heard, I was disappointed. The food was decent, not excellent, and the service could be better... fast, but not impeccable. As for the ambiance, we ate outside in a pergola, so I can't comment on the interior. One issue, a major one for me in a restaurant, is that the bathroom is outside the main dining area. The bathrooms are clean, but I don't particularly appreciate having to leave the restaurant to get there.

We were in Sala Baganza, near Parma, for work and stopped at Pifferi: an excellent discovery nestled in the greenery of the Boschi di Carrega Park. A refined restaurant, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff. We ordered an appetizer for two, two first courses (exceptional tagliolini, perfectly seasoned), a refreshing and pleasant house white wine, and two sambucas to finish: everything was truly excellent. Amazing mushrooms, generous portions, prompt service, and a more than fair price. Excellent value—it's hard to find better in the Parma area. Highly recommended, whether for a work break or a quiet dinner outside the city.
