I found this little restaurant by chance while wandering around the center at lunchtime. It was a stroke of luck. We had lunch with the typical first courses of the house, which to say divine is an understatement. Everything was delicious, no ifs or buts. Reasonable prices. Friendly and welcoming owners. To be applauded. If and when I return to Florence, I will definitely come back to eat here. Highly recommended!

I was afraid of ending up in one of the usual tourist restaurants and instead I ended up in this small trattoria that prepares genuine Tuscan dishes. The place is small but they know how to manage the space well. A few tables are on the street where there is no traffic. The menu is full of traditional Tuscan dishes. My wife and I had the crisis Tuscans with livers and various crostini, a ribollita and a portion of gnudi which are ricotta balls coated in flour and boiled. Then some cantucci with vin santo. In addition to pass the wait they offered us some potatoes cut into thin discs and fried. The staff is fast and friendly.

Great tucked away local spot with great Gnudi, Gnocetti, and steaks. Everything we had was fantastic and the service was like having extra family around. Highly recommend this tucked away gem in Florence.

A beautiful family owned restaurant. Food was excellent, and you can tell made with great ingredients. Pictured here are the owners (full family), I am sure you will see them. Greet them well, they will take care of you

Buena comida y servicio. El vino tinto de la casa también era muy bueno! Recomiendo encarecidamente el Pepeso del imprunetta que es carne de res cocinada en vino con sabor a pimienta. ¡Fue increíble! Rosso bulgharese era el vino de la casa que era excelente también. La comida fue lo mejor que hemos tenido en Florencia!

Trattoria accogliente e dall' atmosfera caratteristica. A conduzione familiare.Titolari gentilissimi e attenti: la bambina aveva avuto un piccolo incidente e si sono spesi per consolarla.La lode ai crostini con i fegatini identici a quelli che mi preparava la mia nonna.Ottima la ribollita.Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente tenendo anche conto che siamo a due passi dal Duomo.Faremo il possibile per tornare prima della partenza.

27/06/2025: This places feels like you’re eating at home. The service was impeccable, the food did not skip a bit. Each dish we got was some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. Very grateful a local in the area recommended us. This pasta and steak experience is something I’ll never forget. Thank you so much to this entire staff for putting in all the intangibles to help people feel loved while breaking bread together.
11/06/2025: We discovered this place by chance while walking through the quiet streets of Florence. It feels like a true local taverna with a warm and genuine atmosphere. Staff occasionally break into song, plates clink, and the entire setting feels like pure Italy. One of my favorite spots in Florence and definitely a place I would love to return to. Such a sweet and joyful team.

Trattoria al Trebbio

30/06/2025: Delicious food and kind staff! We enjoyed the tomato and mozzarella salad, truffle pasta, and pesto pasta here. Wonderful meal — will definitely be back!
