I Macellai In Galatina

Sometimes you find surprising flavors where you least expect it and one of these is "I Macellai". We tried the tasty potatoes and some sandwiches and found flavor and quality in everything we tried. The staff is very kind. The quality/price ratio is very high and on their website you can also find their menu with all the prices. During the summer, the restaurant is divided into 3 locations (internally, a gazebo area and with tables on the pavement a little further on). My advice is to book. If you are near Galatina, try it for yourself…

We ate a Florentine steak. Very good! The house wine is also good. Fair price

We had dinner a little while ago in the garden, the atmosphere is very pleasant, the dining room staff is very mocking and stubborn, I ordered a buffalotta which I sent back because the buffalotta was days old, when I complained the waiter intervened and said to me in tones almost annoyed "I only have this problem with customers from Campania, the mozzarella arrives fresh every day, our buffalo is so dry compared to yours", then the owner arrived at the table accompanied by the waiter to show me the product he sent to the table and the the buffalo came from Campania (Ponte Barizzo, in the heart of the Sele plain) and was several days old 😉 the waiter, according to what he said to me at the table after the complaint and the product he showed, made a fool of himself… . the meat that the master butcher recommended to me was exceptional, so much stuff. Very fair prices.

We ate very well all the meat we chose at the counter. Only I dare say the bowler hats are a bit too fat and therefore heavy, but still everything is delicious. We had a good time also considering that the price is more than honest

Definitely a place where you eat well but to be honest Google asks me for an opinion every day because I stop at the traffic lights but it's probably always full of smiling people so I assume you eat very well

Siamo stati bene. Nel pieno della festa patronale di Galatina ci siamo fermati a cena e abbiamo chiesto espressamente se ci fossero le bombette, non presenti nel menù. C'erano, in bella mostra nel banco all'interno del locale con una vasta selezione. Oltre all'antipasto tipico ne abbiamo scelto di 4 varianti diverse, totale 13 bombette di buona misura, tutte ottime. Si pagano a peso, chiaramente dichiarato sui cartellini che ne spiegano la varietà per cui nessuna sorpresa negativa, anzi... Conto complessivo, compreso di birra, acqua e caffè 38 euro. Non avremo nessuna remora a fermarci di nuovo se ci dovessimo trovare in zona.

I macellai è un locale spettacolare, il servizio è un servizio SPLENDIDO, soprattutto IL MACELLAIO, nonché imitatore di Salt Bae, una persona gentile, simpatica, precisa e rispettosa, il posto ha dei pezzi di carne spettacolari, dal black angus, alla scottata, all'ancus irlandese che vengono serviti direttamente sulla pietra bollente al tavolo. L'unica pecca è che avvolte si rileva un pochino troppo caro. Lo consiglio e sicuramente ci RITORNERO PRESTO
